Mirage’s P.O.V
Sarah was waiting for me right outside the doors and as soon as she saw my face, she took my hand and began dragging me away.
Only once we were inside the safety of my room did she let go of my hand and started to check my pulse and my temperature.
“What’s wrong?” She asked worriedly. “Your pulse is closer to 180 again. Did something happen?”
“Yes…No…I don’t know!” I felt like I was about to panic. “I heard this voice inside my head, Sarah…”
Now that I was no longer in front of so many people, the force of the shock was almost to the point of being overwhelming.
“A voice?” Her eyes widened. “Your wolf?”
“No,” I shook my head immediately. “It was different. This one sounded lighter…I-I can’t explain how different, but I just know this wasn’t my wolf!”
