Suddenly, Mahiru burst out from Daichi's Mansion, tears streaming down her face without restraint. 

She ran with desperation etched in every step, her sobs echoing through the air.

But as she sprinted, a misstep caused her to stumble and fall, the impact jolting her and scraping her knees. 

She collapsed, sinking to her knees, tears cascading down her cheeks. 

Desperately, she tried to conceal her anguish by burying her face in her hands, yet the tears continued to flow, each one a silent testament to her pain.

A firm knock sounded on Mahiru's door, prompting Tatsuki, her father, to answer. 

As he swung the door open, his eyes widened in alarm at the sight before him: Mahiru stood on the doorstep, her eyes reddened from tears, a wounded knee visible, and dust staining her clothes.
