Chapitre 118: Her Caged Emotions

"Make me, Alpha King!"

Zina found her sense of direction and stormed away from the pillar that had become her guiding stick, breathing hard and ignoring the threatening steps behind her.

Daemon could burn in hell with his voice commanding her like she was created for the sole purpose of obeying him. She stumbled but she didn't care, and not less than two seconds into her futile escape, his strong hands wrapped around her waist, halting her steps.

"How many hands will I have to cut off today for your foolishness!" He growled in a voice that shot straight to her core and not her head. 

Zina heard the people about them scampering away in search of shelter from the man's unusual rage. He was normally calm so what was wrong with him? Was his 'control' on some sort of vacation she was not aware of? And what was this thing about cutting off hands?
