When Orion reflects on the day he set out again after a long time, he still feels emotional.
Recently, he walked through the Curiosities Room of Herta's Space Station and saw several things that stirred his emotions.
An intricate poker tower.
A pair of gray-black wings.
And... some fragments of a fiery red sword.
He observed these items quietly, lost in thought.
Orion could sense the memory and power contained in these items, full of memories.
Several new "light cones" vaguely appeared in the mirror space.
After days of exploration, Orion had a new understanding and reflection on his ability to grow stronger.
Objects full of memories can also become sources of nourishment for him.
As long as it's a memory, whether it belongs to someone else or himself, it can be stored in the mirror space.
Preserved in a form called a "light cone," it can be used and operated at any time.
"Perhaps the reason why Fuli noticed me back then is related to this theory of mine."
Orion's thoughts wandered, and when it came to the level of the Aeons, Orion had to be cautious.
In the search results of the information terminal, there was very little information about the Aeons. In the eyes of humans, the Aeons have endless power and rarely appear, but their influence is felt throughout the galaxy.
For humans to cross the star sea, the power of the Aeons is almost indispensable. The [Pioneering] Aeon Akivili opened the routes between stars, the [Destruction] Aeon Nanook brought calamity to the star sea, and [The Hunt] Aeon chasing [Abundance] led to an endless hunt.
The scope of this world and the power levels are so vast that Orion surpasses any game he knows.
Orion has long considered using the knowledge of time travelers and the power of other fantasy worlds to enhance himself.
He succeeded, but not completely.
The memories he gained from a small screen and keyboard weren't enough for Orion to recreate items with the exact abilities he remembered.
"But... what about the Judgment of Shamash?"
Orion has never seen a real judgment of Shamash, has he?
"The difference between the Judgment of Shamash and my other memories..."
"Yes, this is it!"
A flash of inspiration struck Orion's mind.
Although Orion has never seen the real Shamash or the items from different amines, it doesn't mean others haven't seen Shamash.
Other people's memories = my memories
"Wait."
Soon, Orion encountered a new problem.
So as long as the shared memory between himself and others meets the standard of "reproduction," wouldn't he be able to recreate anything without the restriction of distance? As long as it's something known in the vast universe, someone somewhere would have memories related to it.
The Judgment of Shamash that he recreated didn't rely on the memories from different universies.
Instead, it came from that man.
"Didn't he remember the Judgment of Shamash in this space station?" Orion bit his thumb nail, recalling the "stranger" he was very familiar with.
Welt Yang.
This memory of the Judgment of Shamash, excluding other possibilities, could only come from this man.
The former leader of the Anti-Entropy Alliance, the second Herrscher of Reason, history teacher at St. Freya Valkyrie Academy, mentor to Bronya, with many years of experience in the animation industry, and an ordinary person who loves robots.
Welt Yang's experiences and deeds are so vast they cannot be told in an hour or two, or they could be summarized in a few short lines.
However, when he's by Orion's side, he's undoubtedly a reassuring presence.
Just hearing his voice brings a sense of security.
He's seen almost all forms of the Judgment of Shamash, and some of the unusual things coming from the gun when he developed the Stigmata form also came from him.
The gun reminded Orion of Welt's presence, and Shamash also wanted to return to the common form in Welt's memory.
This explains everything clearly, breaking down abilities into three levels:
**[Basic], [Advanced], [Mastery]**
He can ask Welt Yang for advice on how to better use this weapon—his guidance will be invaluable.
To advance to the second level, you should regularly connect with others' memories, items with memories, or create new memories worth keeping.
As for the third level, Orion Astra doesn't have many ideas or strong feelings yet. His life hasn't been filled with intense memories or unforgettable experiences with that item.
But if you want to tap into power beyond this, your hope may lie in mastering the third level.
After thinking about it, Orion Astra found himself deep in the rare artifact storage room—a place where stellaron was once stored.
Now, someone else was there.
Stelle.
She stood quietly, facing away from Orion Astra, not reacting to his footsteps. She was just staring at the spot where she was created.
"Where dreams begin, huh?"
Orion Astra gently approached Stelle, breaking her thoughts.
"Orion..." Stelle's usual energy was gone, replaced by a softer demeanor. She sat on the steps where Stellarion was once kept, patting the seat next to her, signaling Orion to join her.
Orion sat beside Stelle, noticing she seemed to share his own concerns.
"Aren't Himeko and the others supposed to leave today?" Stelle asked softly.
"Yes," Orion replied briefly.
Right now, he just needed to listen.
"Are you going?" Stelle tilted her head, looking at Orion quietly.
Orion looked back, "I will."
"Why—"
Stelle turned her head again, sighing.
"Orion, sometimes I wonder, maybe I could stay here?"
Orion was surprised—he hadn't expected Stelle to have such thoughts.
After a pause, he shared his view.
"No matter what you decide, I support you."
"No matter what." Stelle didn't show much emotion, as if she were seriously considering staying at the space station.
"But I still hope to travel with you, Stelle."
Stelle's eyes brightened a bit.
Orion continued, "Even though we haven't known each other long, I can tell you're not meant to stay in one place."
"Stelle, just like your name, you're meant to travel among the stars. Maybe your past experiences make you hesitate."
Orion paused. Himeko had told him about Stelle's identity recently.
Stelle was created as the carrier of the stellaron, but her creator, whom Stelle might call "Mom," left the Herta Space Station soon after Stelle's creation.
Without much life experience, Stelle felt lost. So, during her time on the station, she was always busy—finding treasure chests, completing tasks, fighting without rest—maybe she was searching for her purpose.
By staying active, she avoided thinking about why her creator left her and what her existence meant. Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
Everyone faces these questions—Stelle was just dealing with them earlier than most.
Orion wasn't qualified to answer her because he didn't know the answers himself.
"But hesitation won't solve anything. Traveling might not either, but it's better than staying put. When you've met enough people and seen enough things, you'll gain new insights."
After giving Stelle some encouragement, Orion felt relieved, having said all he could.
"Pfft."
What he got in return was Stelle's laughter.
"I didn't expect you to be so good at giving advice."
Stelle's laughter was light, but Orion wasn't too pleased.
"Anyway, I've said what I needed to say. Take it or leave it."
Orion turned away slightly, pretending to be indifferent. No way was Stelle going to miss boarding the Astral Express—no chance!
"Okay, okay, Orion, look at me." Stelle's laughter grew louder as she waved him over.
Orion turned to see that Stelle's confusion had eased, at least on the surface.
"Thank you, Orion." Stelle's voice was sincere, just like her—reliable.
"Let's go." Stelle stood up without further explanation and darted out of the storage room.
No more hesitation.
"Where are you going?" Stelle moved so quickly that she disappeared in an instant.
"If you don't hurry, you'll miss the train!" Stelle's voice echoed from afar.
"Hey, this kid." Orion stood up slowly, watching her vanish into the distance.
After a moment, a smile appeared on his face.
"Well, I'd say that was a successful talk."
Wandering out of the storage room, it was still a while before his agreed meeting with Himeko.
As he walked through various cabins, saying goodbye to the people he'd met, Orion reflected on every detail of his life during this time.
Waking up, fighting the Antimatter Legion, defeating the Doomsday Beast, witnessing Rocky and Leslie's love story, taking photos with March 7th, and joining a chat group for gossip in the space station it was all memorable.
It's time to go.
When he arrived at the platform, familiar faces like Dan Heng, Stelle, and Himeko were already waiting.
Herta, Asta, and Arlan were also there to see the crew off, though Orion couldn't shake the feeling that Herta was looking at him strangely.
"Let's go." After greeting Himeko and listening to a lovely but unrecognizable song, Orion boarded the Astral Express for the first time.
His [Trailblazing] journey had officially begun.
