Chapitre 44: Thunderbolt

The idea of blocking that tunnel seemed great. We decided to do it, since it wasn't that difficult.

With the help of some men from the village, we were able to collapse the tunnel and fill it with heavy stones that would prevent anyone from entering. They would have to attack us head-on, which would improve our chances of victory.

But, even with that, we were screwed. I had counted approximately 200 to 250 tribal soldiers who would attack us, and that far outnumbered the warriors we had in the village.

According to Steward, we had about 30 soldiers, making our numbers far inferior to the tribe's.

In the meeting room with Steward and some important members of the village, we discussed the situation, trying to find a solution.

"I didn't think they would have so many," Steward said.

"And that's with us stopping the reinforcements," I added. "Imagine if we had to face everyone."
