Écrire un avisyour story isn't structured well at all. The writing is fine but it's messy in that there's cool elements but we get no insight into what's happening 30 chapters in. Like why are we dealing with paladins and the MC's calamity form this early in the story. Even though the fights are cool (Captain faux and sebas especially) it's such an abrupt jump in powerscaling when the main character was figuring out and getting his first core just chapters earlier.
Greetings from your Dark King! There's so much to say about this book, but I'll restrain myself from giving away too much. If you have any questions about the novel, feel free to leave them in the comments. To start, the story revolves around a young man named Caspian as he starts a journey to discover his true identity and purpose. As he goes through the complexities of his world and the strange phenomena known as "Events," Caspian faces countless challenges that push him to his limits both morally and physically. Now, who is Caspian? Shaped by a lifetime of mistreatment and scorn, Caspian appears to be a relentless, determined individual. He’s on a path to become a hero, though not in the traditional sense. His vision of heroism is inspired by the knights, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to live up to that ideal. But don’t expect a “goody two-shoes” type of hero. Caspian's version of heroism is odd, full of danger and thrilling adventures. He doesn’t shy away from tough decisions, and he certainly isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. One thing to note: I'm not a fan of overpowered characters, including those with convenient plot armor. Caspian starts out mostly average, growing stronger naturally as the story progresses. While he may become quite powerful, it's his cunning, unique abilities, and unwavering Will to succeed that will set him apart from his foes. So, if you're looking for an overpowered protagonist, Caspian's strength may not blow you away immediately, but his resourcefulness and determination certainly will. As for the romance? Well, let’s just say I’m still deciding on whether Caspian’s journey will lead to a full-blown harem. There will be romance, yes, maybe with more than one potential love interest. But the woman who captures Caspian’s heart isn’t one for sharing, so we’ll see where that takes us. The true magic of this book lies in its rich, immersive world-building and complex, deep characters. Expect bizarre and fantastical landscapes that feel lived-in, filled with vibrant stories and unforgettable characters. It’s these elements that make the book a standout, and I’m confident you’ll be drawn into the many mysteries and adventures along the way. And if you’re wondering why I rated it 5 stars... well, why not dive in and find out for yourself? 👀
