Chapitre 138: Not a Mate

Kieran glared at Jaq after delivering a sharp slap to the back of his head. "What did I say about not messing around with the Bloodmoon pack?" His frustration simmered beneath the surface. Flirting with an Alpha's mate? What the hell was Jaq thinking?

"I'm so sorry, bro. I swear I had no idea!" Jaq whined, looking genuinely remorseful.

Leo, standing nearby, crossed his arms and scowled. "How the hell did you not know? If we didn't show up, who knows what might've happened?"

Kieran could see Leo's irritation. The night had promised fun, but the fight had ruined everything.

"Whatever. I'm just glad no one got seriously hurt. Well, except Alpha Dominique," Leo added with a smirk.

Kieran's thoughts suddenly shifted to Rose, and a surge of rage bubbled inside him. One of those bastards from the Bloodmoon pack had touched her, and seeing her cry had plunged his heart into his throat.
