Chapitre 135: A Challenge

Kieran didn't understand what was going on.

As far as he knew, he could control just about any animals and humans.

Except for this irritating human in front of him.

No matter how much he tried, he couldn't get inside her mind and get her to say what he wanted. It was as if she had some kind of invisible shield in her brain.

Maybe he was just having a bad day.

When Kieran's father announced his future wife would be a human, Kieran didn't know what to expect. He'd never had much regard for humans; to him, they were simply useless.

Sure, they had advanced in technology and could sometimes wield it to their advantage, but biologically, they were still inferior. Without weapons, they were nothing, easily torn apart by wolves like him. So, why would he want anything to do with them?
