Chapitre 68: Food

Valentina enjoyed her nightly strolls. When everyone was asleep, she liked sneaking out of their territory and walking along the rivers. Her father would most likely forbid her from doing it anymore, even though she was more than capable of protecting herself!

The moonlight cast a silvery glow over the water, making it sparkle like a field of diamonds. As Valentina walked along the riverbank, she listened to the soothing sound of the flowing water and the occasional rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze.

Tonight, however, there was a sense of restlessness in the air. Valentina couldn't shake the feeling that something was different. Her senses were heightened alert for any sign of trouble.

Meh, it was probably nothing.
