Chapitre 48: The Draconian

Black miasma rises from her body, very thick and suffocating, despite the numerous magical shackles restraining her. The air around her pulses with an almost malevolent energy, distorting like a mirage.

'Such power…' I mutter, my brows furrowing. My inspect skill, which has always worked on everything, doesn't even trigger. It's as if the system itself is blind to her presence.

"Luke…" Myra calls out to me, her voice tinged with a rare edge of fear as someone who has always been courageous. "Please, let's leave. I don't have a good feeling about this." she warns me, almost pleading.

But for some reason I can't tear myself away. Something deep and primal, pulls me toward the draconian girl. Even though I can't see her face—she keeps her head lowered, weeping softly, her entire form radiating exhaustion, causing me to feel an overwhelming need to help her.
