Chapitre 219: A Return to the Studio

I don't own star wars

Circe Firemane-Bessana, CEO of Firemane Studios dropped onto her office couch with a less then dignified. Oof. Sighing exasperatedly as she lied her furry arm over her eyes, somewhere on Coruscant there was a showing of Benduday the 15th part 5… the unexpected and completely irritating hit movie series produced by her studio… and SOMEHOW, she thinks she was drunk, Mirai managed to convince her to take the peace offering the director offered her and make a cameo in the film.

And they didn't even ask her to take her top off… progress.

She did however choose not to attend the showing and decided to take a much-needed break/nap on her couch. She wasn't sure why the series was a hit, but it was raking in the money, hot half-naked girls getting slaughtered really was a hit… She might have gone if Mirai was around. But she was off doing something for her father, Urai-Ken… probably something fun, exciting, and action-oriented that probably would've made a cool movie…

Circe's pretty green eyes closed, and she took a breath… and she was out like a light.

"Ms. Firemane?"

"Dah?!" she sat up, glancing nervously around to find a just as nervous looking Towry standing a good arm's reach away… he had been unfortunate enough to experience just what happened if someone woke an unexpecting Circe. Years of obsessive fans, kidnappings, and attempted enslavements had trained her to swing at a slight jostling or bad touch. "Oh… Towry." She sighed, straightening out her office clothes and sitting properly on the couch. "…What time is it?"

"…About four hours since you arrived so… 2 hours after midnight?" he replied, holding out his datapad. "…Ms. Firemane we have a… problem?" he noted, unsure if they DID have a problem.

"Uggh…" Circe sighed, "…Towry can't you bring me good news?"

"I bring you good news all the time." He noted politely, getting into the swing of things once he realized she wasn't going to hit him. "And you need to see this. It's about the movie premiere." He clicked the datapad and the familiar face of Jon Carrol appeared.

"Ugh." She groaned again, "Must I?" Towry, rigorously nodded his head as he pressed play.

"As usual Firemane Studios drops the ball in their most recent release." Jon said slimily, he had taken to burning EVERY movie they released, which was silly because he wasn't a reviewer, but his audience base lapped it up. "And not only that but they saw fit to put their CEO; washed-out, overhyped former actress Circe Firecrotch-Best-hole-a. into a completely unimportant scene where her usual acting chops once again fall far below standard. Perhaps she did in fact learn something from her harlot mother after all? How to fake it."

If Circe actually cared about the opinion of an idiot, she'd talk to senators more often. But those who review, never bothered to act. She glanced at Towry, he paused it. "So? You do realize that his opinion about me is well known, and ABSOLUTELY biased, right? I stopped caring about what he and his viewers think." She began to lie back on the couch, yawning. "All 2 of them…"

"Well he's not the problem… HE is." Circe glanced as he pressed play again and she sat up… noticing immediately ANOTHER familiar figure.

A blood-red trench coat, matching wide-brim hat and faded but still useful chest armor. An older man with greying red hair but a face that belied his actual age, walked into frame, just behind Jon Carrol who hadn't noticed him yet. In the far corner just offscreen was a beautiful, matured Cathar female with large 'bimbo' breasts and snowy white fur that she had passed down to her equally beautiful daughter.

"…Oh fuck…" her daughter breathed as Circe's father, Aiden Firemane, pointedly tapped Jon Carrol's shoulder. Calypso Firemane stood just off screen as she was pulled away by am equally matured pretty blue twi'lek.

"Excuse me." He said, deceptively pleasant. "But I could not help but overhear you."

"Let me GUESS." Jon Carrol began, not even looking at Aiden and obviously irritated at being interrupted. "You have an 'opinion' about what I've said? Can't you see I'm busy?! Piss off! Watch it on the net."

"No… I just wanted you to repeat what you said about huh… how did you say it? Circe 'Firecrotch'?"

Jon Carrol turned and jabbed his finger against Aiden's armor. "Listen here pal. I-" then Jon Carrol started screaming as Aiden suddenly grabbed his finger, and promptly broke it. Squeezing it painfully as Jon Carrol dropped to his knees.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY LITTLE GIRL YOU SON-OF-A-BITCH?" Aiden sneered, all semblance of calm from him now gone as he grabbed Jon Carrol by the shirt collar and glared into his eyes as he easily lifted him back up, "WHAT-THE ACTUAL-FUCK. DID YOU CALL HER MOTHER?" Aiden pulled Jon Carrol close to his face, so close their noses almost touched. "NOBODY… Gets to talk about my girls like that…" he said blood-freezingly cold.

Jon stopped simpering long enough to realize who the hell was assaulting him. "Oh… Shit." He whimpered before the video became one long beatdown scene. Circe flinched again and again as her father put the fear of the force… physical force… into Jon Carrol, twitching with every hit as she could NOT stop her lips from stretching into a smile.

"Oh! Oh… SHIT!" she flinched, grinning obviously as Towry sighed, "Ooh! Damn!… DADDY!" she laughed, a little aghast.

"Please… stop saying it like that…" Towry mumbled blushing at the oddly arousing way she exclaimed at the fight.

"Turn off the video!" Circe replied, still watching as Jon became a twitching wreck on the ground. His camera person not even bothering to try and help him as one of the best (ex)bounty hunters of his age, (literal and figurative) defended his family's honor by relentlessly beating the ever-loving SHIT out of one of her fiercest nay-saying critics.

…Damage control was going to be horrible, but it was the BEST thing that has happened to her all year.

"Ma'am this is serious. Stop laughing." Towry pleaded as she giggled helplessly on the couch, clutching her stomach and covering her mouth with a hand. "This is BAD."

"I… HA-HA-HA! I know…" she cooed. "But. Oh my Force. It was funny. Out of all the people he could've insulted me in front of… wow…" She grinned, "That guy is a moron."

"But your father beat the daylights out of him!"

"And it looks like some shit judging from the stains…" Circe noted laughing as Towry groaned.

"Ma'am…" he whined, but she got up, getting control of herself. She gave the stressed-out assistant a kiss on the cheek and strutted past him to her desk, retrieving what looked like a bottle of Corelian whiskey.

"Which hospital is Mr. Carrol staying at?" she asked. She blinked when no answer came and smiled at the petrified Towry. "Aldis?" she purred and Towry jumped, cleared his throat, but was unable to hide his blush.

"Oh… uh… near the theater. Mag-mags." Named after a very donation friendly gungan "How did you know he was in the hospital?"

"Because he pissed off my Dad. If it was my Mom, he'd be in a cemetery…" she noted, putting on her friendliest smile. "Alright. Take me there."

"T-Take you… Ma'am why?" he mumbled, skipping after her as she carried the bottle out.

"I need to have a talk with Mr. Carrol. I'm sure he has plenty to say to me."

It didn't take long for Towry to drive Circe to the hospital. And despite their reluctance to let her inside, a smile and a few free passes backstage at her studio got them to turn around for a few minutes. "Stay here Towry would you?" Circe smiled as she left Towry just outside the elevator on Jon Carrol's floor. "This won't take long."

She passed the nurse's station, glancing at the attractive girls there and smiled at them. They smiled back, and made her way into Carrol's private room. Shutting the door and standing at the foot of his bed. Carrol had seen better days that's for certain. His legs were in casts and uplifted, and his arms were in slings. She imagined after a few days of rest they would toss him into a bacta tank. But for now… she jostled the bedding and his black eyes blinked slowly open.

"OOOOU!!" he growled, his jaw set in a brace. "ut the uck r u doing ere?"

"I came to talk to you." She said, sweetly as he struggled to reach for his nurse button, but she gently pulled that away. "You'll get that back when I'm done." He grumbled and growled. But she raised her hands tentatively. "I'm told you met my daddy?" she could not HELP but smile. "…If it makes you feel better I didn't even know he was here."

"IT uzent." He mumbled and she nodded.

"…Well… then let me get this out of the way." She took a deep breath. "I'm SORRY my daddy beat the ever-loving shit out of you." It took every acting skill she had to NOT laugh at that sentence. Her lips twitching ever so slightly. But she held firm. "So I'm going to politely ask for your own safety NOT to make a big deal of this. And I will pay all your medical bills."

"hu.... hur-hur-hur!" he started laughing, his set jaw twitching in a crooked, missing tooth grin. "an y uld I oo at?"

Circe, the picture of calm replied politely "Because if you DO make a big deal out of this. Those SIS agents watching over you will make sure everything that's happened to you over the last year would be forgotten." He slowly frowned, "And… of course if they don't do that out of some cruel kindness. You might be visited by a Cipher agent or two… who will make sure you never say anything, ever, again." Jon Carrol went very still…

"You see." She said, calmly, sitting on the edge of the bed. "My family is… complicated." She nodded, "Off the record? My family is dangerous. BUT." She noted, "Only to people who FUCK with us." She nodded slowly. "Don't do that. And you'll be fine." She smiled prettily at him, he stared furiously back at her.

"Look. It's not me. I didn't tell him to do that. But I will clean up his mess." She said, softly. "…His WIVES in both the SIS, and the Ciphers however are pretty content in letting him live a quiet life." She whispered. Although technically her 'mama Newt' wasn't a cipher anymore... she was a high ranking watcher, but she didn't really want that out there regardless.

"I don't want trouble." she leaned over him, a stupid man would think she was trying to seduce him… Jon Carrol wasn't exactly a stupid man. But he wasn't smart. "Just let this go. Move on. And you can go back to insulting me in a couple of weeks. AND I pay for your medical bills. Who is losing in this scenario?"

Jon Carrol was quiet, staring into her bright green eyes as her fire-red hair framed her snowy white cat-like face. Her mother's beauty, her father's charisma. She smiled as Carrol was quiet for a long, long time.

"…Your father..." he said, determined to get out every word. "Stays. Away."

"Done." She said practically, "…But by the way. Not even I will be able to stop him if you talk shit about my mother again." she said warningly. "…or myself for that matter..." She added coolly, before whispering softly in his ear, almost erotically. "And if this conversation gets out? I don't need to tell you what Cipher Agents do to people who talk..." she added sliding the nurse button closer to him. "Send me the bills." she grinned cheerfully. Carrol was quiet as she left, she smiled at the 'nurses' again and said with a rather casual air.

"Tell Scarlet we are good." One of the nurses, a rather shapely Pantoran, nodded her understanding, ever so slightly. While Circe went back to a nervous Towry.

"…Ma'am? Please tell me you didn't make it worse." He begged as she nodded.

"I didn't make it worse." She said playfully as together they got back into the elevator. Towry driving along, noticed that she still had the Corelian whiskey.

"Wait… the whiskey isn't for Carrol?"

Circe laughed melodiously. "What? No! Why would I waste perfectly good whiskey on Carrol?! No… this is for my daddy." She then smiled prettily at the blushing Towry. "…Hey Aldis, want to meet my father?"

"…I'm… not really sure Ma'am." She just smiled, leaning back in the seat.

"…I think he'd like you Aldis." She grinned playfully. "…He's actually very nice to my less than crazy fans." Aldis blushed, trying not to look at her smug grin.

"W-well we're going anyway… right?" he asked hesitantly as she chuckled.

"Right…" she blinked, "…Actually Towry where are they staying?"

He cleared his throat, "W-Well… since their visit was supposed to be a surprise. They're ready to meet you back at your home." he then glanced in the mirror. "…Please be surprised." He whimpered.

"I'm am very surprised Towry." She smiled. And watched the Coruscant lights pass her by.
