Chapitre 73: Date Night: Yura

I don't own star wars

I'm going to let you in on a secret if you want to see a good sunset you land on a planet with a poisonous atmosphere. If you want to see a great sunset you find a planet with discolored water so the sky changes to something utterly indescribable, a kaleidoscope of colors in the last few moments of daylight.

But the greatest sunsets of all time have to go to tattooine, something about the twin suns and vast sand sea made watching it like viewing an aurora except it was nightly.

Not that I was watching one right now… I was staring at my floating, lying, sexy girlfriend as Kolto helped turn her face into an intimidating scar. She might hate it, but I didn't care she was still Yura. Lying, beautiful, sexy Yura… who lied to me. Still kind of hung up on that.

I frowned at the thought, eyeing the lightsaber nearby as if it insulted my sisters. So it was lucky I didn't pull out my blaster and shot it. I stared at the kolto tank again, staring intently at her face as slowly the tank began to drain. I waited patiently as she finally opened her eyes and saw me.

She smiled… that same smile she always gave me.

Her stupid, lying, loving smile… Force damn it.

The tank opened and she stepped out, rubbing her arm nervously as if cold. "…Hey." She said hesitantly… I tossed her a change of clothes, she still had good reflexes so I guess her eye was undamaged, and the saber had gotten uncomfortably close.

"Get changed. We're going out." I told her firmly, turning and leaving the medbay without another word.

I paced the hanger, eyeing the entrance where she should arrive as I did. Wallowing in my thoughts as I let my emotions overwhelm me… then she appeared, dressed in a very simple dress as she rubbed her arms, looking a little awkward.

"Aiden… look I…" she began but I raised a finger to silence her and opened the ramp.

"Come on…. Let's go." I said, and together we exited to find a rental speeder that we silently entered.

We were quiet as we flew out of town, she kept looking at my determined face and turning back to face forwards. We came across a plateau of rock that viewed the vast dune sea and if we squinted behind us we could see the outskirts of town. I parked and got out of the speeder, soon she did the same.

I turned to her and took a deep breath. "…I might yell at you."

She nodded slowly and closed her eyes. "…Okay."

"YOU'RE A SITH!?" I shouted at her, angrily, shaking my hands at her neck and violently pacing. "You have a lightsaber!? You fought Kaath-Tyi ALONE and lived! How long?! How long have you had the force?! Why have you never used it before?! WHO ARE YOU!?" I jabbed her in the center of her chest with a finger, but she stood there taking it. "…OKAY!" I shouted with a little finality, running my hands through my hair frustratingly, "You can feebly defend yourself now."

"…I'm not a sith. I've never been a sith." Yura finally said, speaking very calmly. "And I don't have the force. I've never been good at it… and my name is Yura and I'm your slave." She said, with a determined look in her eyes.

"You can use a lightsaber!" I yelled back but she shook her head and went back to the speeder, sitting down on the passenger seat and patting the driver, looking at me expectantly as the twin suns of tattooine began to set. Finding that it was better than standing I joined her and together we watched the sunset.

"…Before I was born…" she began solemnly, watching the horizon intently, "The sith lords of Korriban tried to make powerful force users. So a particularly powerful slave volunteered and they had her get gang-raped by other powerful force sensative slaves until one stuck…" she tapped her chest, "I was the result. But it didn't really work I can't really use the force, I can't even sense it. But I was really good with a lightsaber and practically indoctrinated at birth. Eventually, I was given to a sith infiltrator to train me in the ways of espionage. And I learned well." She stopped talking for a while as stars began to appear. "I did a couple of missions with her but eventually we came to tattooine, spy on some jedi or some crap… they'd never hurt a child so I was used as bait but it didn't work and my 'master' was mortally wounded at the end of it."

"…She died in front of me and I didn't know what to do. What to think… so I wandered the desert for a while until I found a town… and Torga." She sighed, "…I told him I was a slave… he thought I was being honest and liked that about me so he essentially doctored my life and hired me. Didn't really start pimping me out until I was about to meet you…" she smiled sheepishly. "Honestly… Aiden I put all of it behind me… I wasn't a lightsaber duelist or a force user… and I never used those skills because we never needed them. I buried my lightsaber and only retrieved it when I learn there was a bounty on your head."

Suddenly I distinctly remembered the day when I met Knights… Short-round had been fiddling the 'scope' to her blaster… son of a bitch.

"Where you ever going to just… tell me rather than keep it a surprise?" I asked, sounding more hurt than I felt.

She shook her head, "…Not if I could have helped it… lightsabers draw attention, I was just going to let the old Yura die and keep being the new one…" The night came and we sat there in the dark, watching the last rays of light vanish. I got out of the speeder, and she watched me go, looking scared. "Aiden… please don't be mad at me."

I was, I didn't want to be… but I also didn't like being lied to. And she chose not to tell me that… she kept it hidden hoping it would go away. What else could she be lying about?

"…Tell me a truth." I scolded angrily, glaring at her.

"What?"

"Tell me a truth. Something completely and utterly honest." I said opening the trunk of the speeder and pulling out a bottle of wine I had placed there earlier. "Then tell me a lie… I want to know what your face looks like when you do."

"You want a truth?" she said firmly, glaring at me now. "Alright then... FINE!" she yanked the wine bottle from my hand and tossed it into the back seat, "I LOVE you. And it hurts me sometimes that I don't tell you that as often as you tell it to me." I blinked at her for a moment a little surprised. "Now here comes a lie. A lot if you want to get technical." She took a deep breath, "…I never want to marry you. I don't ever want to have a family with you. I don't want to have children with you. And I am NOT sorry I didn't tell you I could use a lightsaber. There are your lies… and here's one MORE truth…" she grabbed me and kissed me, we slowly wrapped our arms around each other and for one glorious moment in the cool tattooine night we were meeting again for the first time.

She pulled away, letting our breaths mingle, "I'm sorry. Please forgive me… Shit really sucks when we fight."

I stared at her, and slowly pulled the wine bottle from the back seat, "…So… this isn't actually wine. Torga said it's some sort of cider made from dantooine pears." I said conversationally, "We need to drive back after all…" I uncorked it and produced two cups. "…Happy date night." I said handing her one. "…I'd toss you in the back seat and have hot and sweaty apology sex, but I think Milky has privileges until she gets knocked up. And you know for a fact you'd rather have me hate you forever than an angry Milky."

Yura watched me pour the juice and her expression softened, "…So… have you forgiven me?"

"One day we'll tell our kids that mommy can swing a lightsaber… then you can explain to them why you aren't going to teach them how to use one, being an uncool parent." I drank from my cup and watched the night sky with her. "…Deal?"

She was quiet, but she lay her head down on me, and together we viewed the twinkling stars, dozens of spaceship trails littering the night sky as we did. Watching as what looked like a pirate battle raged over the planet. "Deal."

"Then I forgive you." I said wrapping my arm around her, pulling her closer, and enjoying the silence. "As long as I'm the cool parent."

"Sure you wouldn't rather throw me into the back seat and relieve some of that stress?" she smiled mischievously.

I shivered, Milky privately made it known what would happen if I 'played' with the other girls before she was pregnant. I wasn't going to risk that. I think the hormones were getting to her… "…Later. Let's do that much much later…"

She chuckled and I could feel her eyes rolling in her head as we enjoyed our moment of peace…

End of Chapter

This was quick, my shortest chapter, and a long time coming, I was saving Yura's date night for this moment.
