NICO'S POV
"So, you're really going to leave me all alone in this big house?" Alexander muttered, and I ignored him, taking a sip from my drink. He had been weeping, crying, and complaining about how much he would miss me and how he wouldn't be able to cope living alone, and I'd had enough of his non-stop complaints.
"What's up, man? Do you think I'll live with you forever? I have a family now; you should be happy for me," I answered, still not sparing him a glance, and he scoffed.
I knew he was very happy and excited for me and was just doing all this to frustrate me and annoy me. I mean, what's the reason for his existence if not to make me annoyed?
Alexander had been friends with me since high school, and just like a pest, he would never go away, even when I tried so hard to send him out of my life. He had always remained constant.
