The Pokémon game showed a red circle on the left side.
A red circle meant that there was a notification.
He clicked on the game to see the notification.
"Update? UPDATE??? UPDATE!!!"
He shouted excitedly and started reading the update notes.
It's only been 3 days, and the game already has an update; isn't that a bit fast??
But that's good! The faster the game updates with cool new stuff, the better!
The update notes read as follows:
- Gym Boss Update
- More new Pokémon added
- New special items added
- Shop update
- New antagonist added
- Bug fixes
"Quite a lot," Rey thought as he clicked to check out the Gym Boss update.
Gym Bosses are basically checkpoints to test if the players are strong enough; the Pokémon they call out will depend on your level and Pokémon.
New Pokémon? No surprise there, since the game is still in beta, it's not shocking if they add more Pokémon.
Items, on the other hand, are different. Depending on the item, it could unlock a hidden quest or a special piece of equipment for your Pokémon.
The shop update is great! Lately, they've been earning money but didn't know what to spend it on, making the money feel a bit redundant. Now, with the shop update, players can go and spend it.
And the new antagonist is someone who steals Pokémon.
After reading the entire update, Rey couldn't help but feel excited.
There's quite a bit here, especially the item section. If there's equipment for Pokémon, they can make weak Pokémon stronger! (Wrong, except for that Rattata.)
And the most special thing in this update...
The beta now allows more players!
From 5 players, it's now 10!
Not much...
Rey quickly grabbed his phone and texted everyone to let them know.

Updating games made by Arceus Corporation is a bit different.
They have to connect their virtual reality (VR) headsets to their computers since VR headsets are essential.
Oceanlover and Birdup were lucky enough to register in time. A few hours later, their VR headsets were delivered to their doorstep.
They seem to have never played a game made by Arceus Corporation before, just like Lukas, who accidentally registered because he was bored.
After all, the game was free then why not click to register?
So, the group decided to play right away.
They didn't know that updates like this didn't actually change anything, because the "game" they were playing was, in fact, the real Pokémon world.
But that's a story for later, the most important thing is that 5 new players will join.
The locations where those 5 players will appear are three places: Pallet Town, Viridian City, and Pewter City—places Red has already visited.
And all these updates were automatically done by the system.
Since Red is the Admin, his only task is to manage the players.
After summoning 5 new players, the system went back to hibernation.
Red will undoubtedly face more problems caused by these new players...
