Chapitre 92: Leaving Stormont

Ballister didn't say anything but listened closely as the girl continued to cry. He had been in the kitchen preparing a warm tonic for a cold when his master walked in and asked him to go be with the princess. He didn't realize why, but seeing her cry now meant something must have happened. The young boy had never seen the girl cry with so much heartbreak, and it made him even sadder to know that nobody from her family was with her at that moment.

As she continued to cry, he stood behind her to make sure nobody would see her. When some maids started approaching them, Ballister pressed his lips together. He couldn't get the princess to stop crying, and he was sure she wouldn't want others to see her in this vulnerable state. So, he did the first thing he could think of.

"Kwak!! Kwak!!" Ballister made silly sounds, with his hands on his waist, running around the princess making duck sounds.
