Freya came to a sudden stop in front of Erik, Mia, and Thor as they emerged from the Bifrost's radiant light. Thor's expression was relaxed can confident as always. However, his keen eyes quickly scanned Freya's tense posture.

"We were going to join the battle. But we received word that the fighting was already over, so we came back instead." Thor said and then studied Freya's face, noticing her clenched jaw and the tightness in her fists. Something was clearly wrong.

Erik's heart sank as he observed Freya's rigid demeanor. He could sense the weight of her emotions and the anxiety that radiated from her. A cold knot of fear twisted in his gut and a terrible thought struck him. Freya had taken Liam to the battlefield and now she stood before them looking so worried, so distraught. It could only mean one thing.
