Chapitre 75: Take advantage

Cole noticed Conrad staring at the heavy paper bag he was carrying. 

"Oh, one of my colleagues gave me this. Come on, let's eat."

Since President Raven left with the youth, it was obvious he will not be back until afternoon. So Cole planned to have lunch with this stupid brother of his and then give him the gift he prepared. 

Conrad did not respond. He did not move his eyes away from the heavy paper bag carried by his brother. He could not forget the conversation he heard. 

"Conrad?" 

Cole called Conrad's attention twice but he did not respond. His eyes were still staring at the heavy paper bag. 

"Hey." Cole walked up to his side and tapped on his shoulder. 

"What's wrong?"

"Who gave you this?" 

Conrad ask. He himself does not know why he still ask even though he knew the answer. Is he that desperate to dig his own grave? 

"A colleague." Cole answered straightforwardly.
