"Cole, ask someone to buy medicines for itchy throats and easy to digest food."

"Yes, Sir."

"But dang, boss. You never used that kind of gentle tone for us. Not once! Considering we have worked for you for almost 5 years." Conrad complained. He shook his head as he remembered all those times where Raven will coldly order them around like robots.

Raven gave him a look of ruthless scrutinization. As if asking what type of entity does a lowlife being like him has that dares to ask for a favorable treatment. 

Conrad raised his hands in surrender. He knew if he teased the boss further, he might not get his bonus in the next payday. 

"What's his movement?" Raven asked, shifting the topic. 

Hearing this, Cole took it as a signal that Raven wanted to discuss the important matters regarding the McGardens'. So he went ahead and erased Conrad's shameless question for Dwayne.
