Chapitre 70: Competition  

"Shit," grunted He'dtaalh as he watched the once lean, fur-covered assassin transform into something completely different. His fur receded into his body as if it never existed, leaving a bare chest, arms, and legs. Like Axis, he kept his tail, the fur on his face, and his pants managed to survive the transformation, but that was about it.

All four males continued to stare as the male undergoing the transformation didn't seem to notice any difference; his sole focus was on the scent on the sheets.

Purity Is The Light wanted to rub the female's scent all over him, but knowing that he wasn't alone in the room made him hesitate. He had found his mate, and now all other males were nothing more than competition.

And competition was easier to take out when they weren't aware of the threat.
