Blanche sighed inwardly at Isabella's vivid imagination; to be honest, she had never thought of it that way.
"Miss Isabella, I think you may be misunderstanding. I came here today just to handle work, and as for the hug with Mr. Felix, it was just a friendly farewell."
"Enough! Who's going to believe your nonsense? Save these words for Allen; only a man like him would fall for your deceit and be completely bewitched."
Upon hearing Isabella speak ill of Allen, Blanche instinctively felt displeased.
