Chapitre 28: Headmaster's words

Raena wished she could say, 'Another day, another slay,' but that seems difficult to achieve. 

Every single moment of her life here in Thornwood has kept her on her toes with every shred of nervousness at this point! She could not, by any means, complain about it though. She's just a witch living in her corrupted witch world. 

"This feels like detention back in the day," Raena rolled her eyes, remembering the times when her governess was still tutoring her. 

Earlier today, an Academy official knocked on her dorm before she could ever get herself a fetus. Thankfully, the Headmaster looked for her so she was able to get away from such a futuristic scenario. 

Raena stepped onto the lifting platform, her heart pounding as it began to descend. The platform was open to the air, with no walls to enclose her, and she felt a rush of wind against her skin as it moved downward, almost like free-falling into the earth.
