Ozpin was now having a hard time breathing, He looked at the shattered moon outside the window.
He felt that the God of Light and The God of Darkness were approaching from an endless distance.
He could not perceive how far they were from the world. He just knew they were coming back.
"They are coming back... But why now?
Ozpin asked himself why the brother god came back at a time like this. And he could only think of one thing or one person that might be the trigger for the brother gods to come back to the remnant world.
"It must be because of Sullivan."
He was the only one that came to mind. He pulled out his scroll and called Glinda as fast as he could. They didn't have much time before the brother god came back.
Glinda was now considered to be a member of Sullivan's group.
Ozpin hadn't been invited to the guild yet. Or even if he were invited, he might not accept to be a part of it. He was too old and was yearning for true liberation.
Glinda accepted the call almost immediately.
"Glinda, I need your help to check something for me."
Glinda heard him and knew that something very bad might have happened.
"What do you need?"
Ozpin told Glinda what was going to happen. When she heard that the brother gods would descend upon the world once again. Her face was becoming pale. She knew Sullivan more than Ozpin, so she knew that he could not win against the brother gods.
"I will contact Sullivan immediately. Please wait for me to call back."
After that, the line was cut. Ozpin took a deep, long breath. He didn't know what was going to happen from now on, but he knew that it wouldn't be anything good.
…
In the land of darkness. Salem's tower.
Sullivan was now looking at a very beautiful milf woman, who was now looking at him with an embarrassed expression on her face.
"No one, I mean NO ONE EVER DARES TO DO THAT TO THIS QUEEN BEFORE! HOW DARE YOU!"
The beautiful milf was, of course, Salem, the Queen of Grimm.
Now that the brother gods have decided to come to this world once more, There's no point in leaving her like that.
Sullivan had purified the souls that were caged and sent them to the afterlife. They won't be tortured by the brother gods ever again.
Sullivan scratched his head a little before saying that he was sorry to do something that might be inappropriate to her, but it was necessary.
"Okay, now that you are no longer the queen of grimm, Please tell me what you want to do from now on. Do you still want to destroy humanity?"
Salem, She was a mature woman and would not be petty enough to still hold a grudge against what Sullivan did to her. It was necessary for him to do that to her in order to lift the curse that the god of darkness had given her.
She thought about it a little bit. If she still wanted to destroy humanity, the answer was that she didn't care about those filthy humans. She wanted to destroy them at first because she wanted to be free, but now she had already gotten what she wanted.
They could survive or be wiped out by the brother gods. She couldn't care less.
Hearing her confession, Sullivan was satisfied. This meant that Salem was now becoming chaotic neutral rather than natural evil.
"Now that everything has come to this, I can't win against them just yet, so we need to do a tactical retreat."
Sullivan then told Salem about the guild and offered her asylum, which she refused, which surprised Sullivan greatly.
"What…"
"I have lived long enough, I don't want to stay in this world for much longer, I yearn to be reunited with my daughters. I will kill myself after you go back to your domain. I don't need to teach you anything anymore, as you have all of my knowledge. I just hoped that one day you would come back and kill them for me."
Salem, even though she got her humanity back, wanted to kill herself so she could be reunited with her daughters.
Sullivan looked at her like she was an idiot.
"Why do you look at me like that?"
"Do you think your daughters will still be there waiting for you? It was many millennia ago! They would already be isekai, or reincarnated. "
"Isekai… What does that mean?"
Sullivan needed to teach her something. Even with the Phoenix down, he could not bring someone whose soul had already been reincarnated or be reborn.
