Tsunade sent Neo to take care of white fangs. She knew that Roman could take care of himself, but even with his newfound power, he wouldn't be able to take on the whole group.
Neo was very strong after she took her in as a disciple. She was strong enough to take on the whole army by herself.
She, as a member of the guild, was given many types of power that boosted her potential to the limit. And Neo was one of the most talented people that she ever met.
Tsunade was now drinking a foreign sake that Sullivan had given her. It was called vodka, and it was pretty amazing. She really liked it.
After she drank a whole glass, she went back to work. And while she was working on experimenting on the grimm, Someone appeared inside her office.
"How's it going?"
The one who came to her office inside the academy right now was Hermione.
Tsunade heard Hermione. She smelled an aroma that she wasn't familiar with, but she knew what it was. She was fucked by her master and looked like she lost to him once again.
"Pretty good. I think I know the principle behind it. But there is something still missing. And I don't know what it was. I can't use magic like you so maybe you can find something that I can't."
Tsunade had done almost everything to research how Grimm came to be. She reversed the genetics of it and found that it was created by some kind of energy that was similar to chakra but had something missing. But by giving them chakra, they became whole. Thus, the white grimm was born.
Tsunade was very intrigued by this energy, but she lacked the means to check what it was. So she called Hermione to help her. She was very smart and had watched the show with Sullivan, so she might know what kind of energy was inside the Grimm.
In the show, they said that Grimm was created from a viscous, tar-like substance. Pools of this substance appear in numbers in the Land of Darkness. Grimm of sufficient size, like the Wyvern and Monstra, were able to produce this substance and create new Grimm.
Hermione heard what Tsunade had said, and then she proceeded to check on the grimm that they were experimenting on. She tried to use her magic, which Tsunade didn't have, and then she found something very disturbing.
"This…"
Hermione's face went pale. Tsunade, who saw her face becoming paler and paler, immediately acted. She used her chakra to calm Hermione down. This was one of the Medical Jutsus to heal someone who had suffered from Genjutsu.
"What happened?"
Tsunade asked in concern. She knew that Hermione was a very strong-minded woman, and if there was something that could make her become like this, it must be very big.
"It isn't soulless, like anyone said. There are many souls inside them, and they are screaming in pain. The souls that are inside it are the souls of those it consumed!"
Tsunade was shocked by what Hermione had discovered. She looked at the grimm once again. They were creatures of darkness that could cage the souls of those they consumed.
"Can we release the souls that are inside of it?"
Tsunade asked. Even though she is a kunoichi, that didn't mean that she didn't feel anything about the innocent souls who had been tortured inside the grimm.
"I don't know. I have to try."
Hermione felt scared. It wasn't because the grimm was scary, but because the souls that were caged inside of it reminded her of Voldemort.
She tried to use magic to break the cage. And when she did that, she felt someone looking at her from somewhere.
'Stop, You are going to bring them back to this world!'
'This voice, Salem!'
Hermione knew immediately whose voice this was. She contacted her through the grimm.
'If you break the cage, they will be back and wipe out humanity again. Even though you are a goddess, you are far too weak to stop them!'
Hermione stopped whatever she did. She knew that Salem might be the enemy of humanity, but she hated Brother God more than anything. Which means what she said was true.
