Jean tried to run away from Sullivan, but no matter how hard she tried, He seemed to be slowly getting close to her, even though she already uses her power to lower her weight.
'Why the hell is he so fast?"
She felt that she couldn't run away from him. He would eventually reach her, so she stopped and turned to face him.
If he tried to do anything to her. She will fight with him to the death, even though it was her fault. It didn't mean he could do anything to her.
She was ready to fight, but the guy she thought was going to do something to her but he was just standing there and thinking about something before asking her with his curious face.
His eyes didn't contain the scornful look anymore.
"What do you mean you can't stop reading my mind?"
Now she was still reading his mind, even though she didn't get anything from him. It still counts as breaching his privacy.
But he didn't look angry at her anymore. This was the first time she hadn't heard anything from anyone except the professor.
"I can't stop my power." It wasn't my intention to read people's minds; I didn't want to. It is out of my control."
She told him the truth when she talked about her out-of-control power. She looked very sad.
She didn't hide it from him because she thought that he was also just like her, a mutant, and he seemed to have the same power as her.
"Well, that stinks."
"Yeah, oh well, you don't look angry anymore. Does this mean you forgive me for what I did?"
"No"
"Why?!"
"Why should I? You read my mind even though you didn't mean it. It doesn't mean I was okay."
"Then what do you want from me?"
"Come here, and I will tell you."
Jean hesitated
"I am not going to do something bad."
"That didn't assure me anything."
"Oh, come on, do you want me to forgive you or not?"
Jean, who heard that, She could only grit her teeth before coming near him.
"If you did anything fishy, you can prepare to spend your life in the hospital."
"Okay"
When she came closer to him,
Sullivan felt something magical deep inside of her, and he was curious. She was the first person he met in this world who had magic.
He tried to see deep inside of her with his magical sense, but when his magic touched her core, He felt like he was burned by the sun.
"Ouch!!!!"
Sullivan fell flat on the floor. He quickly used Primum Auxilium to heal his mind; it wasn't his physical body that got hurt, but his mind and spirit.
Luckily, he wasn't swallowed by the magical flame.
"What happened! Are you okay?"
Jean looked at him in concern. She felt that he used his power on her to check her body. She knew why he did that without needing to read his mind. He was curious why she couldn't control her power.
Sullivan panted a little; his body was full of sweat.
"I need…water"
Jean heard that. She quickly went to find some water for him. She came back with a bottle of water. Sullivan quickly drank the water.
"I know why you can't control your power; there's something inside blocking your core."
"My core, what do you mean?"
"Hahh It is too much for me to explain. Now my curiosity almost got me killed; fortunately, my luck was powerful. Well, I need to go back now."
"Stop right there; don't let me hang! Tell me!"
"I don't want to."
Sullivan then went away. He went to the principal's office to see if he had already contracted with his grandparents.
"Y-You!!"
Jean gritted her teeth. Never before had someone done this to her. It was so insufferable!
She then went after him. She will know what makes her lose control, no matter what.
In the principal's office, the temperature didn't feel cold anymore because now the principal sweats a whole bucket.
"You want to tell me that you will expel my grandson." Are you sure about that, Mr. Principal?"
The principal could only gulp. He didn't know that Sullivan Morningstar was actually the adopted grandson of Benjamin Parker and May Parker, the richest men and women in the world.
"Well, sir, I didn't mean that."
The principal was stuttering. He messed up.
"Did the cat get your tongue, boy? "Speak to me again using that mouth of yours; I want to hear it word by word."
Benjamin's voice was so powerful that even Miles, who sat far away, felt suffocated by the authority of his voice.
And at that moment, everyone was suppressed by an unknown force.
Sullivan shows up, and everything seems to turn back to the way it was before.
"Did I miss something?"
