Cherry's heart skipped a beat as she heard the crunch of twigs beneath someone's feet, signaling an approaching presence. The rustling of bushes and soft footsteps grew louder, and she spun around, her voice firm but laced with a hint of fear. "Who's there?" she called out, but the only response was the continuation of the eerie silence. She asked again, her voice slightly louder, but the darkness yielded no answer. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows, and Cherry's instincts kicked in. She stood up, her eyes straining to see the person's face, but the darkness obscured their features. As the figure drew closer, Cherry's fear gave way to recognition, and she ran towards the figure, flinging her arms around him in a tight embrace.
