On Thursday, the family had to go the morgue to pick the deceased. Plans had been well laid down. A school bus, a pickup and a car had been hired for the same. Also, the family cars had to accompany the fleet. They left to the morgue exactly at eight o'clock in the morning.
The car at the front of the fleet had Laura and the mother. The second one had the deceased's sons, then the remaining one had relatives and other mourners.
It was a dark moment for the family. The sombre mood filled everywhere, their faces expressed great sadness.
The mourners sang funeral songs, at least it gave them some hope and comfort. It took them around an hour to arrive at the morgue.
On arrival, things became different. Laura could not endure it. She kept crying out loudly. She had lost a pillar of her life. Someone she had cherished for long. The more she was comforted , the more she cried. She became too weak, finally unconscious.
