Chapitre 112: The Heart of Despair

A young girl of about ten stood, her back placed at the edge of a tree in the freezing cold. All around her white specs of snow slowly descended from the sky bathing the world in white.

Drip. Drip.

The snow behind her was painted crimson. The girl tightly clutched onto her bleeding arm to reduce the blood loss and mask her location but she could not. The blood continued to slowly flow onto the field.

She would be found soon, she had to keep moving.

She had already failed her mission, what awaited her back at home was death but maybe her father would be lenient, maybe he still had a little love left for her?

But she knew deep in her heart that there would be no mercy for her.

Her sister was out on a mission after all, her intercessor was gone…

The girl looked up the snowy hill, there was a spotlight tearing through the darkness as it moved towards her location.
