Layla went underneath another swing set to avoid Veralth's approaching blade and just like the last one this one was split in two.

Veralth was swinging his sword with shaky hands, his movements were messy and his attack patterns were flawed. He was far from the man she knew.

As blood dripped down his face Veralth moved with a maddening glint in his eyes, there was no reason in those pupils, just pure killing intent.
