Chapitre 93: Demon

Luck felt the cold winds encompass his entire being. His figure raced through the frigid cold of the night without a care in the world, the feeling of weightlessness was freeing, it was peaceful, it was life.

This was how life was meant to feel, unending happiness free from every sort of burdens.

That was how he wanted his life to be, just chase strength at his own pace, be strong enough to protect those around him… but everything changed after that night.

When his defenseless self was dragged over to the middle of that bloody mess, he realised something he already knew but always tried to push to the very corner of his mind.

It was at that very moment that it all came back with terrifying clarity. Just as the fire burned his skin, just as his father watched, just as the mad man laughed.
