Chapitre 82: Shattered Hope

Some men broke into Ferri's office, searching it thoroughly while he slept soundly at the motel.

"Sir, you may want to see this," one of the men showed their leader a closed glass tube containing one of the bombs, but it was deactivated.

"It's a bomb, but it can't be activated manually, so the control must be somewhere else. It could lead us to the rest. Go find him at the motel. If he gets away, you'll be making up for it."

Soon, a mob of dangerous-looking civilians moved towards the motel. Ferri had just woken up when he saw a damaged object that looked like a game console. As he was examining it, the men barged in, catching him "red-handed."

"How dare you barge in here?!" he yelled, pulling out his gun. After a moment of struggle, Ferri was captured and brought to Francesco, still clueless about what was going on.

"I see you've got a new toy. Would you mind telling me what it's about?" Francesco urged, pointing at the console.
