Hirvan parked the car smoothly at the junction of Elian's home's entrance and turned towards Fu Yan. The tension resulting from his outburst still lingered during the ride, and neither of them had spoken since then.
Hirvan sighed and looked at Fu Yan, who sat rigidly and quietly beside him. His gaze was downward, avoiding eye contact with him. Hirvan watched him for a moment, then opened his mouth and broke the silence.
"Sorry, I yelled at you."
Hirvan said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"I was frustrated. I was expecting you to handle things the way I would have. Which wasn't fair to you."
"Then I remembered when I was your age, I had done so many stupid things. Compared to me, you are like a god of wisdom!"
Hirvan made a joke to lighten the mood.
Afterwards, he glanced at Fu Yan again to gauge his reaction. However, he realized that Fu Yan was still looking down and didn't respond to him.
