'Real status plate? Was the one that was shown to me a fake? If so, why?'

Fervis's smile briefly turned into a frown and her hold on my hand tightened as she seemed to look back at the ground before suddenly pulling her head up and meeting my gaze with an icy gaze.

"Rumi always had me go through these precautions… because of the Dragoon Bloodline, she gave me a fake status plate and told me to reveal that one if I ever met someone new."

As Fervis explained, her eyes met mine full of disdain and she huffed slightly as she flung her forearm forward to the side of her. A crack in the sky formed, and her arm reached into it before she began pulling it back.
