After a few days, it was finally time to leave for the Tamar desert.
"We'll be traveling at full speed, but don't hesitate to tell me when you want to take a break," he tells her. Alice fixed her riding attire and nodded. She hid her smile but it was too late, he had already caught it. It made him smirk a little.
"What is it? Why the smile?"
"O-Oh. I'm just excited."
Sirius's eyes lingered on her. She's been very patient with him while he finished business in God's Palm, but she must be restless. This must be her first voyage to a faraway place and for a few days, they'll be out sleeping in the middle of nowhere.
"Please take care," Florence bowed. Kiki who was in her arms, mirrored her gesture. Alice worked hard to familiarize Florence to the animals since she'll be the only one left with them when they're gone.
She's glad to see her hard work has reaped good results.
