Chapitre 21: The Mirage
This scream of that woman alerted the guards and when they all came into the room of their Madam they all saw the dead body of Neelam lying on the bed with a bullet hole on her forehead.
Seeing their Boss dead they all became very frightened. And soon they moved closer to the dead body to check on it.
But then one of the security guards stopped them from going very closer and touching the dead body as it might damage the possible evidence for the police.
Hearing the words of that security guard they all moved back to their original position right at the door of the room.
With sad and tense faces they all looked at the dead body before them but soon they all felt someone standing behind them.
And soon the person standing behind them knocked out the woman and seeing her passing out the security guards turned around and became shocked seeing the man.
Security Guard #1: "You... you... Don Uday Shetty. You killed our Madam."
The person who knocked out that woman and standing before them is none other than Don Uday Shetty.
And soon the old man in his 70s began to knock out the security guards one by one as they all felt frozen before being knocked out by Uday Shetty.
Falling unconscious the last security guard saw Uday Shetty moving towards the bed room where the dead body of Neelam is present. And seeing this the security guard went complete unconscious.
One hour later...
The police, forensic doctors and media personnels all of them have gathered at Neelam's mansion/villa where they have began the investigation of Neelam's death.
How all this happened, well after twenty minutes of being unconscious the woman who is Neelam's personal secretary and the security guards regained their consciousness.
And when they the personal secretary looked at her Madam, she saw that the body is completely burned and seeing that she screamed very loudly.
Hearing her scream once again the security guards who have started to gain consciousness began to ran towards the bed room.
Reaching in the bed room they also witnessed the heart wrenching scene of the burnt body of their Madam.
So without wasting time one of the security guards immediately called the police and told them the matter that has happened and after that he also called the lawyer of Neelam who has appointed all of the security guards to protect Neelam.
And now at the present time the police investigation has begun with the media reporting this case which has became a national issue.
Soon Anil and Akshara also came to the mansion after getting the news of the murder of their elder sister.
Being the family members they were allowed inside the house where the saw the forensic doctors conducting their scientific investigation to find the seen and hidden evidence.
Soon both Anil and Akshara came across the burnt body of Neelam and upon seeing the body they both broke down emotionally as tears started to fall from their eyes.
The shouting of Anil began to reverberate in the entire mansion of Neelam which made everyone who is present at that location to feel sad for Anil.
But the personal secretary of Neelam is giving a very strange look to Anil as if she knows something about him or as if she knows that Anil is just pretending or putting an act before all of the people.
Soon the vehicle of Mumbai Crime Branch also entered inside the premise of the mansion and soon from the car some officer came out.
Soon those officers entered inside the mansion and checked all of the investigation that is going on.
Among those officers a particular female officer is present who is wearing a maroon shirt and a trouser who is going to play a one of the major part in Akram's life.
For now all of those crime branch officers began to talk with the police officers who are present there and then they moved to talk with Anil and Akshara.
Talking with both of them the only thing they got was that they had no idea who can do this as Neelam had no such enemies of her.
But soon a very strong and crucial evidence came to the light for the officers.
One of the police officer who was there brought a security guard with him to the officers of crime branch and told them that this security guard knows who the killer is.
Amol(Crime Branch Officer): "Tell us who is the killer ?"
Security guard #1: "Sir it was Don Uday Shetty."
Hearing the name of Don Uday Shetty all of the police officers, crime branch officer and even the forensic doctors became shocked.
They couldn't believe that Don Uday Shetty killed Neelam.
Amol: "Are you sure it was Don Uday Shetty ?"
Security guard #1: "Sir I clearly saw the face of the killer. I can't forget that face. It is the face that has kept the entire Mumbai under his reign of terror for many years. I can identify him in the crowd of many people."
Hearing this determination and surety of the security guard the crime branch officers also believed on his words.
And soon the security guard provided the crime branch officers with a cctv footage that has Don Uday Shetty already inside the mansion and then attacking and putting the security guards unconscious and after three minutes of that leaving the mansion.
The cctv footage was not complete so couldn't know from which way he has left and then the crime branch officers showed the same footage to Anil, Akshara and the secretary.
Seeing the footage in which Don Uday Shetty is shown, Anil began to think about the humiliation and insult that Akram had done of him only because of Uday Shetty.
And thinking about the moment when Akram had nearly killed him, Anil got filled with the intention of taking his revenge on Don Uday Shetty.
So he immediately put his index finger on his forehead and acted as if he is thinking about something and then he said, "Officers I remembered something now."
Amritha: "What is it Mr. Zaveri ?"
Anil: "One week ago my sister had told me that Don Uday Shetty had given her threats to extort money from her but my sister has always refused him. He has given multiple threats to my sister. I think it is because of my sister's refusal that he killed her."
With these words of Anil and the past record of Don Uday Shetty, the crime branch officers became fully sure that it is none other than Don Uday Shetty who has killed Neelam.
