Chapitre 11: Pushed Into The World Of Crime Pt.2: The Death and Burning
Seeing everyone putting her in a corner, Priya became very shocked as she couldn't understand why these people have surrounded her.
All Priya could see in the eyes of these people is amger and hate towards her with a slight glint of resentment.
But still Priya couldn't understand as to why this is happening ? She has never interacted with any of the people living in the chawl from the time she has come to live here.
But this anger and hate in the eyes of these people made Priya to feel as if she has done some very terrible mistake which might have committed.
But in her heart Priya knew that she has never done anything that will be counted as a mistake.
Priya: "Why have you all come here and why are you all surrounding me ? Do you have anything to say to me ?"
All the people that have surrounded Priya remained silent and just stared at her. This silence and the stare of those people puzzled Priya a lot.
And soon Priya became more puzzled when suddenly she felt someone grabbed her hand and when she looked at her hand, she found that Sarita has held her hand with a very angry look on her face.
Before Priya could have said anything to anyone there Sarita began to drag Priya away from there and this resulted in the key that is in her hand to fall on the ground.
Sarita dragged Priya towards a house and just before the house someone pushed Priya from her back and Sarita released her hand resulting in Priya fall on the ground on her face.
"Hahahahhaaa..."
Fallen on the rough ground Priya heard the laughter of all of those people who enjoyed her falling which Priya eventually saw with her own eyes while still on the ground.
The mocking faces of those people felt to Priya as spears which pierced her heart.
But then Sarita, Seema and Savita came forward towards Priya. Sarita and Seema held both of the arms of Priya and made her stood up and then both of them pulled Priya onto one of the pillar of that house.
Savita took this chance and brought a rope and immediately began to tie up Priya with the pillar.
Priya: "Why are you doing this to me ? What have I done to you all ? Please leave me alone."
Priya cried and asked for leaving her alone but all of her cries fall on the deaf ears as all of those people just enjoyed seeing this scene.
Once Savita completed tieing up Priya with the pillar using the rope, they all came back and faced Priya with the same mocking laugh on their faces.
Priya continued to pray for releasing her but they didn't budged a little. Then Priya asked for the reason for which she has been tied and after hearing this the pioneers of this incident Savita, Sarita and Seema came forward and said,
Savita: "Reason ? You want the reason. Fine then hear it. We are all doing this because you are a whore."
Sarita: "We are doing this because you are a prostitute that is dirtying our chawl."
Seema: "We are doing this because you are criminal who can harm us."
Priya was completely shocked after hearing these allegations on her character which doesn't has a single ounce of truthfulness in it.
Savita: "You whore. You are destroying the harmony of our chawl and the people who are living here. You whore only for you our children are going to be ruined."
Seema: "You criminal only because of you every week the police comes to our chawl which has damaged the reputation of our chawl."
Sarita: "You bitch only because of you our husbands are going away from us. You are the cause for destroying our families."
The more Priya continued to hear these fake allegations of these three women the more disgusted and shocked.
These people are literally character assassinating her which Priya thought would be the last thing which she might be hearing.
Priya wandered her eyes towards the other people who are standing behind the three women and on their faces Priya saw the same thing which is on the faces of these three women.
After spouting venom and fake allegations against Priya, Savita picked up a small stone from the ground and threw it on Priya while saying, "A bitch like you deserves this."
Following her footsteps both Sarita and Seema did the same and these three shots of stone broke the anger of Priya as she roared, "Who do you think you all are to do things like this to me ? You have no right to do this. You are not qualified to judge who am I or to even punish me. And you all have stated fake allegations against which has nothing to do with me. I have lived in this chawl for three years but in those three years I have never asked a single a single grain of rice or a single pinch of salt from anyone of you. I have lived in this chawl silently while hearing the taunts and mockering of all of you while still struggling and living my own life while battling my own battles against this society without complaining for once. But look what you all are doing to me."
The emotions and tears which came out of her heart were the truth that is present at that chawl but in the face of that horde of societal evil it became useless.
Her cries and words soon got dissolved as the same three women again instigated all of chawl people against Priya.
Seeing everything that she has believed to be true and harmony turning against her completely broke Priya.
Her heart and mind which always stayed on the path of humanity completely broken down seeing this cruel and evil of humans.
And once again Priya faced the onslaught of stones but this time from everyone that is present at the chawl.
Her blood started to come out of her body after facing this onslaught while inner self began to die and at that moment she heard the words of Akram in her head which stated this true and ugly side of the society.
And at that time from the bottom of her heart only one thing emerged, "You are right Akram. The real criminal is this society and the humans that live in this world. And if being labeled as a criminal is the result of going against this society and these humans then I am going to be criminal."
The tears stopped coming out of Priya as rage and anger took their place and at that time Priya saw Savita, Sarita and Seema have drenched their hands in black paint and are moving towards her to paint her face in the black color of shame.
All the emotions of Priya has died with her old self as she saw them approaching closer to her and within no time the three of them with an evil smile on the their faces stood in front of her with their hands touching her face.
One finger from each of them touched the face of Priya and left the mark of shame on her face which on the contrary just strengthen her determination of becoming a criminal that to be a hard core criminal like Akram and with this the only thing that came into the mind of Priya is to kill all of these people by burning them alive.
"Bang..."
Just as the three of them were about paint her entire face in black, a loud gunshot revered in the entire chawl and when they all looked at the direction of the gunshot they all saw Akram standing there with his gun pointed towards them and a person lying dead on the ground.
Seeing that a chaos unleashed between the people who wanted to run away from there but once again those three women stopped all of them and instigated them against Akram.
Seeing that Akram aimed his gun at an elderly man and shot him in the head. This created a tremble of fear among them as Akram began to move towards Priya and as he moved people gave him side.
Soon he reached near Priya and saw her condition and immediately he began to untie her but seeing those three women rushed to stop him.
Sensing them coming towards him Akram turned around and kicked hard on the abdomen of Sarita and gave a death stare to the rest which created a fear among them and stopped their motion.
Akram once again continued to untie Priya and in no time he freed Priya from entanglement and then he looked at her face and saw the three marks of black paint.
Seeing that he became angry and asked Priya, "Who did this ?"
Without saying anything Priya moved her hand onto Akram's gun and when Akram saw her holding the gun, he gave it to her and then Priya came forward and aimed at Sarita and then...
"BANG"
"BANG"
"BANG"
Priya killed the three women on that spot with direct headshots. Seeing this Akram remained silent as Priya turned around him and said, "Akram I want to burn this entire place and all of these people alive."
Hearing her Akram just said, "As you wish."
Akram hid Priya behind her and then he created two fire balls on his hands and then he began to shoot the fire balls onto all of people present at the chawl.
The loud cries of the people for help and save their lives began to echo in that entire chawl as Akram began to set the entire chawl in fire and those who tried to run away got shot down by Priya.
And in no time the chawl which was filled with the joy of people turned into a place where death and burning began to dance and in the midst of that Akram and Priya stood there watching the place and people burning and dying.
