"Are you sure about this?" Ruth asks, uncertainty sparking in his eyes. "Are you sure that it will not back fire?"

"Pretty much." I get out of the car and shut the door behind me.

"What do you mean pretty much?!" Ruth yells but his voice gets muffled because of the door between us, "Hey Erwin! You bastard get back here!"

I don't heed him and walk to the entrance of the huge company building, "Wait here, I will be back in ten minutes!"

The receptionist doesn't ask any unnecessary questions such as: do you have an appointment and other shit. Because of course I don't have one. I am an uninvited guest whom you are not supposed to welcome.

I go to the direction the receptionist shows me. My leg is hurting but I can bear it. And other than that my leg and I will survive it even if we break it again. So no objection.
