The driver had gotten Ana to the nearest hospital as fast as he could reasonably go. Every few minutes Ana would start screaming and he would push a little faster. The last ten minutes he had only heard whimpers from Ana in the back seat.
The driver pulled the limousine in front of the hospital's emergency entrance and feeling terrified he rushed inside for help. He explained that he was the driver for Ana Devon who was pregnant and had collapsed in the car screaming and told him to take her to the hospital.
Two nurses rushed outside with a gurney asking if Mrs. Devon was carrying an heir. The driver told them that he believed she was. The hospital had special precautions for problems with heirs because the risk of lawsuits was so high. They would prioritize the care of an heir over most others.
