Chapitre 3: Entangled Desires
Lily Anderson's body stiffened. Even without turning around, she could feel the murderous intent behind her.
Footsteps, lightly treading on the grass, she could sense him approaching her step by step, but her legs seemed nailed to the ground, unable to move.
Was it the man from just now?
She had been caught?! What to do? What to do?!
Lily turned her head in a daze.
She saw the man who had just been entangled passionately in the sports car walking towards her step by step. He was at least 6'2" tall with straight, long legs. His silver-gray shirt had half the buttons undone, exposing his muscular chest. An aura of undiminished lust surrounded him.
Looking at his face, he had perfect features, and bewitchingly deep eyes that shot out an oppressive coldness.
And just standing there casually, he exuded an overbearing aristocratic air.
This man... had a naturally domineering presence.
Coupled with the guilt of having taken illicit photos, Lily gasped. She subconsciously took a step back. "What do you want?"
The wariness in her tone made it seem like he was the one peeping and taking secret photos.
Ridiculous woman.
"Enjoying the candid shots?" The man walked towards her with a cold smile, like a fearsome cheetah. "Are you going to hand them over yourself, or should I search you?"
There was something inexplicably frightening about this man. Lily continued to back away, playing dumb. "I don't know what you're talking about..."
She was going to play dumb with him?
The man continued advancing on her, his whole body emanating an oppressive aura. His innate forcefulness made Lily more and more flustered.
"Stop! Stop right there or I'll scream assault!" Lily shouted in a moment of desperation.
Visual intrusion?! This man's choice of words was really...
"I really have no idea what you're referring to," Lily replied, feigning ignorance.
Did she plan to keep up this pretense with him until the bitter end?
She thought that by playing clueless in front of him, she could escape unscathed. Too naive.
She wore a sweater over a long, white dress that covered her slender body. She looked weak. Yet on that pure, innocent face was an inexplicable stubbornness.
Stubbornly... refusing to hand over the photos.
"If you don't hand over the photos immediately, I'll make sure you understand that this is the most erroneous decision of your life."
The man's voice was cold and filled with arrogant insolence. Lily's heart raced anxiously as she tried to figure a way out of this predicament she had landed herself in. Little did she know, the worst was yet to come...
