Chapter 52: The Privateering Alliance

At nine o'clock in the morning of the next day, the sun had yet to rise, and the sky was shrouded in darkness. In a secluded corner of the Iron Anchor Bay anchorage, at least a hundred pirate ships of varying sizes had silently congregated, forming an exclusive and isolated fleet. Although the blood cross flag of the Kingdom of England was not openly displayed on their masts, the design of the sailing ships, their adornments, and even the appearance of the pirates were predominantly English. There was no doubt that they were all privateers under the banner of the White Rose York family!

At the heart of the privateers' gathering was the 'Vengeful Goddess,' a ship comparable in size to a 74-gun third-rate ship of the line of the kingdom's navy.
