'seeing my body getting disintegrate into tiny motes of light makes me unsure about how i should feel. At one side i feel sad knowing my life in this world has come to an end without achieving anything tangible or you can say in the eyes of the society i will always be considered a failure for however long i will be remembered. Then again their is no one else left in this world for me to prove something to them, dead parents , no relatives, no siblings , no girlfriend and no friends atleast not anymore. The only reason i have been stubbornly living till now was the wish of my grandfather to train in the nature, to understand , to become one with it. I guess i understand now grandpa what you wanted me to understand all along.'
But that is enough of the reminiscing even though their are reasons to be sad but i can't lie and say i am not excited for my next adventure or second chance at life.

you mean i can only choose from the shows which i have watched before??
[Indeed, but if you even have a limited amount of knowledge about the said universe you can still pick from it up until that period of timeline in that universe. For example you have only watched the anime named one piece till the arlong arc, so you can only pick something from it till that point of time only]
so it means i can't pick gear 5 luffy's powers or shank's or other op characters who will be introduced later in the verse even if i heard about them from a fellow weeb once.
but these specifications only seems to work for cheats what about the world i will choose to reincarnate into?
[I only specified about cheats because i don't think it was necessary to explain about the worlds as i already predicted that you won't choose a world without sufficient knowledge about it or will you?]
no i will not as it will be foolish of me to give up the advantage that is meta knowledge without any reason, but then how should i choose the world, a slice of life one?, or one just at the superhuman level? or a full fledged supernatural one?

suddenly floating words of white gold color started hovering in front of me and they seem to be siphoning their energy from somewhere inside of me, as i can see waves of energy exiting my body? soul? and moving towards the floating characters

after that a window suddenly opened just below the floating characters and it contained the list of all the anime, manga, tv shows and movies i have ever watched throughout my life or past life now , i guess it's only now that the fact is truly hitting me deep inside that i will never again live the life i have been living for the past 25 years or all the people that i knew , i will have to leave them behind forever irrespective of how my relation was with them it still isnt easy.
Anyway i got distracted again, i again focused my attention on the list in front me but i noticed one problem when i saw the list
where is the supposed value of these worlds ? how i am to choose one when i won't even know the world's worth?
[their is no restriction while choosing your world but do note that whichever world you choose will affect the pricing of the worlds you will pick your cheats from. The more powerful the resident of the world the less price you would have to pay for any lesser powerful verse]
so you mean to say that if for example i choose the dragon ball verse then i will have to pay less price for any verse which have less powerful characters than the dragon ball verse compare to the price i will have to pay for any verse of similar power scaling?

that will narrow down a lot of options. First, dragon ball is out of option as their are very few shows which have characters who can survive in that universe but the most important issue is the anime hasn't finished yet and the characters haven't touched their ceilings yet and not to forget the literal lord of omniverse that is grand zeno!!, i mean is their any character in any verse which is on par with him?
Same issue with marvel and dc, i am pretty sure as soon as i choose these worlds dragon ball will be priced more than i would be able to afford with my current amount of points and i can't choose the cheats from the same verse as i will be living in as that will surely attract the attention of truly powerful beings at the start of my journey which would really suck as i don't want to die or get experimented on as soon as i reincarnate there.
naruto would be a cool one but its too underdeveloped for my liking, even though i am used to live in wilderness but that does not take away the fact that the whole world constantly revolves around wars and skirmishes and too many wannabe dark characters which i don't fancy that much and i will put it aside for now.
Harry Potter might be nice and the one i am considering the most because it will be a perfect adventure and the world is not that dangerous and i won't need many cheats too for a good life there!!
i choose the High School DXD verse
Now i know many others who would have been in my position would choose differently or if my story were to be ever written as a book, readers would definitely curse at me but i have reasons for choosing this world, first obviously its the female characters i mean who ever says their primary reason for choosing dxd verse is not the girls then they are lying. Secondly it has an interesting scaling of power, i want to feel how does a person with that much power feels that is why i didn't pick any world without superpowers , harry potter world is too weak power scaling wise and i always wanted to be an op character in an anime, call it a childhood wish and since i got the chance now i wanted to take it.

let's see naruto 60, solo levelling 150,that time i got reincarnated as a slime 160, demon slayer 20,jujutsu kaisen 160, fate verse at freaking 200 points though understandable, and the list goes on.
why is the solo levelling verse , the slime verse ,and most importantly jujutsu kaisen priced so high?
[solo levelling has multiple universal level beings which on stacking breaks the limit that universe can handle same case with the slime verse as character veldenava surpasses the two godly dragons supposedly the strongest characters individually in the verse and lastly with jujutsu kaisen world the creator gave its characters conceptual powers though because of the law of that universe they aren't used to their full potential but the case is different in dxd verse as their is no such limits their]
that was very informative it means i get to pick any cheat from the whole verse, and that their is no sealing to the power. Another thing of note here is that all the powers and skills would most probably be adapted according to the laws of the dxd verse meaning their might be slight discrepancies between my knowledge of them and how i will get them when i reincarnate.
you just said that the pricing of the worlds is determined the level of power of the characters from that verse than you said that their is no limits to how much power i can gain in the dxd verse!?
[its true about both of the things but their is one thing you missed, and to make you understand easily i will give you an example. Suppose i allowed you to pick the slime verse and you choose the abilities of the character Veldanava which i know you will, you will instantly surpass the whole dxd verse in terms of power and you won't even get the time necessary for your soul to assimilate in that universe and all you will do is give a creator level dragon free reign on a whole new universe which may i say you won't be able to control. As for solo levelling verse indeed it should have been a little less pricy but what you should note is the monarch of shadows and destruction are both peak universal level or you could say minor multiversal level with their army and conceptual powers of their domains, you won't be able to live in that universe because of your powers just like the protagonist of solo levelling verse but the difference between the both cases is that veldanava can travel through the multiverse but monarchs cannot, you would have been simply stuck in the void, hence the pricing]
what do you mean they can't travel the multiverse, i saw that monarchs could open the gates and the monarch of insect was even from a different world!?
[they can travel between worlds yes, but universe hopping is a different matter altogether]
[And before you ask about jujutsu kaisen , you do not the horror a being who have mastered a conceptual power to the limit can cause, but you do not have to know that atleast not yet.]

That was my concern as well ,i had thought that with the help of a system the problem would have been solved or if i had the option of picking the slime verse...

A/N:- More than twice the amount of words as compared to the first chapter, lot of info dump, but it was necessary to cover every angle as the random encounter with R.o.B trope is too much used i feel. As i wanted to finish the setting for reincarnation in these two chapters i got late updating, anyway enough ranting , enjoy the chapter and get ready for the exciting things to come.
