Chapitre 1: Prologue

Harry Potter's long and storied life had come to a peaceful end. At over two centuries old, his mortal journey concluded in the serene confines of his bed, surrounded by loved ones. His life, a rich tapestry of magic, valor, and love, played out in his mind like a well-loved book, its pages filled with extraordinary adventures and profound moments. As his last breath left him, Harry felt an overwhelming sense of fulfillment, knowing that his legacy would endure in the hearts and minds of those he had touched.

The world had changed dramatically during his lifetime. The Wizarding World, once secretive and insular, had gradually integrated with the non-magical world, adapting to the advances of technology and the changing tides of society. Yet, through all the changes, the essence of magic remained constant, a timeless force intertwined with the very fabric of existence.

In his final moments, Harry reflected on the incredible journey he had undertaken. From the halls of Hogwarts to the battlefields of the Second Wizarding War, from the mundane to the miraculous, his life had been a testament to the power of courage, friendship, and love. His thoughts drifted to the cherished faces of Hermione, Ron, and his beloved wives, whose presence had been a source of strength and comfort.

As his spirit left his body, Harry found himself in a realm beyond the confines of time and space. The boundaries of the mortal world blurred into an ethereal landscape, and before him stood a figure cloaked in shadow, emanating an aura of calm and wisdom.

"Harry Potter," the figure intoned, its voice resonating with an ancient and timeless quality.

Detached from his earthly form, yet retaining the essence of his identity, Harry regarded the figure with curiosity and acceptance. This was Death, the mysterious entity he had encountered briefly in life but never truly understood.

"Is this the end?" Harry asked, his voice steady despite the weight of the question.

Death's form shifted slightly, its presence both familiar and enigmatic. "For your mortal journey, yes. You have surpassed the ordinary span of human life," it replied.

Harry pondered the words, feeling the gravity of the moment. His life had been long and full, filled with moments of joy and sorrow, triumph and loss. Memories of Gryffindor's common room, the exhilaration of Quidditch, and the faces of those who had departed before him flooded his mind.

"What comes next?" Harry inquired, his curiosity piqued by the possibilities beyond the veil of death.

Death's eyes, though unseen, seemed to hold a wealth of knowledge and understanding. "You stand at the threshold of two paths," it explained. "You may move on to the great beyond, a place of eternal peace where you will reunite with those who have passed before you. Alternatively, you may choose rebirth in a new world—one known as Planetos."

The name stirred something within Harry—a mix of intrigue and excitement. "Planetos?" he repeated, unfamiliar yet intrigued by the sound of it.

"Yes," Death confirmed. "Planetos is a world where magic and myth are deeply woven into the lives of its people. It is a land of kingdoms and dragons, noble houses and ancient prophecies."

Harry's mind raced with images of this new world—a place rich with history and filled with the promise of adventure. The allure of discovering a world where magic manifested in new and wondrous ways was irresistible.

"What would my role be in this new world?" Harry asked, a spark of anticipation in his voice.

Death's form seemed to shimmer with a gentle light. "Your destiny would be yours to shape," it answered. "In Planetos, you could become a legend, a hero, or a guide for those who seek the light in dark times. The choice, as always, is yours."

Harry stood at the precipice of a decision, torn between the desire for a new adventure and the longing to be reunited with his loved ones. Death, sensing his inner conflict, spoke with a soothing tone.

"Harry Potter," Death said, its voice imbued with ancient wisdom, "I understand your heart's desires. You yearn for adventure, yet you also wish to be with those you love."

Harry nodded, his emotions swirling. "Yes," he said, his voice tinged with longing. "I want to explore this new world, but I also miss my friends and family."

Death's presence grew warm, almost comforting. "As a boon for your noble soul," it began, "I grant you a promise. In Planetos, you will encounter the souls of some you once knew, reborn into new forms. They, too, have chosen rebirth, drawn by their own destinies."

Harry's heart soared at the thought of reuniting with Hermione, Ron, Sirius, and his wives. The possibility filled him with hope and comfort.

"How will I find them?" he asked, eager and anxious all at once.

"In the tapestry of fate that weaves through Planetos," Death replied, "your paths will cross when the time is right. Trust in the bonds of love and friendship, for they transcend even the boundaries of life and death."

Harry absorbed these words, feeling a deep sense of reassurance. The promise of reunion with his loved ones was a guiding star, even in this new and unknown world.

"However," Death continued, its voice softening, "be prepared that in this new life, the faces and forms of those you seek may be different. Bodies may change, appearances may vary, but the essence of who they are will remain."

A wave of understanding washed over Harry. The thought of encountering familiar souls in unfamiliar forms was both strange and comforting. He knew that true connections transcended physical appearances.

"Will I recognize them?" he asked, seeking confirmation.

"Yes," Death assured him, "you will know them by the bonds of your souls, by the connections that run deeper than the physical. Trust in the love and friendship that have always guided you."

With a sense of resolve, Harry made his choice. He would embrace this new world, eager to experience the wonders of Planetos and hopeful for the chance to reconnect with his loved ones.

The year was 262 AC, and Storm's End was shrouded in the embrace of a fierce storm. The castle's ancient walls reverberated with the deep rumble of thunder, a fitting backdrop to the tempest that raged outside. Inside, the atmosphere was tense and electric, filled with the anticipation of new life.

Lady Cassana Baratheon, her face flushed with the effort of labor, lay surrounded by maesters and midwives. The air was thick with the scent of incense and the soft murmur of comforting words. Cassana's eyes were bright with determination, her hand gripping the edge of the bed as she worked through each contraction.

In the adjacent chamber, Steffon Baratheon paced restlessly, his face a mask of worry and anticipation. This moment was monumental—the birth of their twins, children who would carry forward the legacy of House Baratheon. The thought filled him with pride and a sense of responsibility.

As the storm outside raged on, Cassana's labor reached its climax. With a final, powerful push, she brought her first child into the world. The baby's cries pierced the air, strong and healthy, a new voice amidst the storm's roar.

Steffon rushed into the room, his heart swelling with joy and relief. He moved to Cassana's side, his eyes shining with pride as he looked upon their newborn son.

"We have a son, Cassana," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.

Cassana, exhausted but radiant, smiled up at him. "A son," she echoed softly, her eyes filled with love and contentment.

The maester carefully wrapped the baby in soft linens, checking him over with practiced hands. Steffon gazed at his son, marveling at the tiny fingers and dark curls. This child—Orys Baratheon, the elder of the twins—was the future of their house, a symbol of strength and continuity.

As the storm began to abate, its fury giving way to a calmer rhythm, the world inside Storm's End was filled with warmth and love. Harry Potter, now reborn as Orys Baratheon, took his first breaths in this new world. The echoes of his past life resonated within him, a silent promise of the adventures and challenges that lay ahead.

In this new beginning, Harry—now Orys—felt a sense of purpose and anticipation. He knew that his journey in Planetos would be one of discovery and growth, filled with the mysteries of this new world and the hope of reuniting with those he loved. As the first rays of dawn pierced the storm clouds, illuminating the ancient castle, Orys Baratheon's life began anew, ready to leave his mark on the world of Planetos.
