An hour later, Sabrina made her way to Alex's office. The door was ajar, and she knocked lightly before stepping inside.

Alex was seated behind his desk, scrolling through his phone. He looked up as she entered, his expression unreadable. "Sit," he said, gesturing to the chair opposite him.

Sabrina sat down, smoothing her skirt. "Alright, let's talk terms."

"Before that, I want to know exactly what Hunter said. Tell me what you both discussed," he said and she rolled her eyes before telling him what Hunter had said and the concerns he had expressed.

Alex leaned back in his chair, studying her as he listened. "Perhaps it would be easier to introduce you to someone else, who would be willing to do the job," he said after she was done.

"No. I don't want someone else. I want you to do it," she said firmly.

"Why not? Why does it have to be me?" Alex asked with a raised brow.

"Because I want it to be you," Sabrina said simply.
