The old man's tone was a bit strange. Although the official language of Armenia had been unified, there were still some differences in language in different regions due to geographical and historical issues.
When this old man spoke, he dragged the tail of his words for a long time and slightly uplifted it, sounding somewhat like the Faku language.
It didn't sound like the current Bordeaux accent, but rather like that of a colonial area from over a hundred years ago.
The old man clearly mistook Roger for someone else. Roger stayed silent and just stood his ground.
"What are you standing there for? I'm talking to you!"
"Which village are you from?"
He scrutinized Roger from head to toe.
"Where did you get these strange clothes?"
"Those outsiders?"
"Haven't your elders told you? Avoid them, each and every one of them is bizarre."
"Always so secretive, they must be up to no good!"
The old man sneered.
