Early the next morning, when Roger opened his eyes, the scenes from last night flashed before him. He turned over and the fragrance on the bed was still there, but the person was already gone.
Under the wooden box on the nightstand, there was a note pressed down.
"You were great, an unforgettable night."
Beneath it was a drawing of a smiling face by the girl.
"Did I just get seduced?"
Roger got out of bed and went downstairs to find everyone else had already left. He only caught Veronia's meaningful gaze.
"So you like those kind of green young girls."
After a night's rest, she looked much better, lounging on the couch even her loose homewear couldn't hide her graceful curves.
She stretched lazily and looked up at Roger, "There's no one else in the house now, if you want to take back your words it's not too late."
"This is your last chance."
There was a hint of teasing in Veronia's eyes, but Roger read something else from her face.
"What happened?"
