Chapitre 132: Strange Feelings

The tranquil pool water shimmered with a metallic sheen as the tumultuous footfall of two individuals reverberated off the rugged stone walls. As Jazz's eyes fell upon two bodies adrift in the water—Killian and Fanfar—his sudden inhalation of breath broke the stillness. Kiti, who had trailed behind, came to a complete stop as soon as she laid eyes on them.

"Jazz!" she yelled, her voice laced with panic. "They're not moving!"

It didn't take Jazz long to remove his cape and hat. Diving headfirst into the pool, his nimble figure sliced through the water with a sense of urgency. There was no hesitation on Kiti's part; she quickly removed her shoes and dove in after him.

Jazz reached Killian first, grabbing him under the arms and hauling him toward the edge of the pool. Anxiety etched his face, as noble and smooth as a statue's, with taut lines, while the pale light of spirits illuminated his grey eyes as they surveyed the water.
