The constant buzz of a new notification continuously flooded my phone on and on which made me finally shrug out of bed groggily.

I managed to pull my sleep mask off and grabbed my phone from the bedside while switching it off without looking. I recoiled back into bed, ready to get another lasting marathon of sleep, but this didn't end well as I had planned.

The moment I laid my already tired self back into the soft bed, another batch of notifications streamed in at an alarming rate which caused me to screech out loud in displeasure.

"Please let me sleep!"

Thinking this would go away again, I finally sat up, grabbing my phone and squeezing it hard as if I was going to break the screen. I tried to shut the phone down properly again, but the streams of notifications that flooded my lock screen caught my attention.
