The New World? 3
There were a total of 6 floor guardians. Starting from the first Guardian, Shalltear Bloodfallen, a true vampire. She was a powerful vampire. I already explained she was pretty much the perfect counter to my build.
The fourth floor was guarded by Gargantua, Gargantua wasn't a customized NPC, but instead was a bonus won by the guild. He wasn't customized, so he had no real personality, although he was at level 100. Having no will, he would do anything I commanded, that was just one of the reasons I didn't call for him. The second reason was that he was huge, being 30m, he was anything but small.
Guardian of the 5th floor, Cocytus. Having an enormous body size of 2.5 meters, Cocytus has the appearance of an insect walking on two feet, he was a fusion between a mantis and an ant. With a tail twice as long as his height, Cocytus is covered in sharp spikes like icicles and has a strong jaw that can easily snap people's hands.
Cocytus stepped forward, and kneeled before me, next to Shalltear. Behind him, two twin elves quickly followed and also got to their knees.
Guardians of the 6th floor, the two were Aura and Mare Bello Flore.
Aura is a boyish-looking child with dark skin and pointed ears, a signature trait of the dark elves. She has golden hair and heterochromia, her left eye blue and right eye green. She wears reddish-black dragon scale leather covered by a white and gold vest embroidered with the sigil of Ainz Ooal Gown. Below it, she has a matching set of white trousers and gold-plated shoes, and around her neck is an acorn necklace emitting golden light.
Mare is a child with dark skin and pointed ears, a signature trait of the dark elves. He has golden hair and heterochromia, his right eye is blue and his left eye is green. He wears a blue dragon scale leather full-body suit, covered by a white and gold vest embroidered with the sigil of Ainz Ooal Gown and a forest green-leaf cloak. Below, he has a matching short white skirt exposing his thighs, and on his neck is an acorn necklace emitting silver light. His slender hands are donned with shiny white silk gloves and he wields a twisted black wooden staff.
These two twins were cross-dressers, they were programmed like this. I looked at them slightly, Aura was looking at me with a smile as if she was seeing her hero. Meanwhile, Mare was scared, shily looking at the ground and unable to look at me.
I was about to speak when someone else entered. I looked up and saw a man who had a devilish charm about him. This was Demiurge, an Arch Devil.
Demiurge is a tall demon with dark skin and nicely combed black hair. Behind the round glasses are eyes so squinted that they are not normally visible. Wearing a British suit with a tie, he is dressed like a gentleman. Behind his back is a silver tail, covered with metal plates and six long spikes at the end. In his humanoid form, Demiurge's eyes lack eyeballs, instead, shining jewels with numerous small cuts take their place.
"Greeting my lord, I hope I didn't make you wait," Demiurge said with a deep and respectful bow. Demiurge was amongst the smartest NPCs within the guild. He was not a master within a single field, but he was a jack of all trades, someone you could trust to do any role,
"Not at all Demiurge," I said calmly, but deep down I was sweating. Would I be able to match up to be a good leader with a genius like this running around? I wasn't the dumbest person, but I was nowhere near being the smartest person. If Demiurge knew the information I had, I was sure he could make a plan countless times better than mine.
The 8th-floor guardian was Victim, he wasn't here as he wasn't needed. There was a saying within the guild that if someone could get past the 8th floor, there was a high chance that the guild would fall. It wasn't that Victim was powerful, his name told one his job within the guild.
Victim was created to be killed to cast a powerful spell. The 8th floor was home to some of the strongest NPC within Nazarick... and the strongest NPC. The 8th floor also had a total of 2 level 100 NPC there, with more NPC. It was the guild's strongest floor,
The 9th floor had no guardian, it was known as the royal suite. Many things could be found on the 9th floor, such as the Spa, Theatre, maid Cafe Pleiades, and the list went on. It had the most number of areas, one wouldn't get bored with that there. My room was also located there.
The final floor was the throne room, and there Albedo stood as the floor guardian, and also the overseer of the floor guardians. Albedo entered quickly, and she was slightly ashamed to see she was the last one to arrive. But she did arrive with Sebas,
Albedo came to kneel in front of all of the floor guardians, while Sebas kneeled at myside. Albedo looked at me, and with an arm over her chest, spoke on behalf of everyone there.
"My lord, me the guardian pledge our fidelity," Albedo said, I looked at her for a moment, struggling hard to find the right words to say right now. I had to speak like an overlord.
"Raise your heads. It pleases me greatly that you all answered my call on such short notice." I said causing them all to look at me, shocked that I thanked them.
"My lord... Your thanks are wasted upon us. We had pledged ourselves to you, and live solely to fulfill your wishes. I fear that our abilities might not meet your expectations, even so... we would strive to meet them in honor of the last supreme one, our blessed creators. This we vow" Albedo said, deep love and loyalty filling her eyes. Everyone else echoed her words, each word filled with their determinations which moved me.
"I have no worries, as you are all the offsprings of the guild sweat and tears. You are all wonderful in your ways." I said which made them all smile, Albedo's smile being the biggest as she couldn't control herself hearing those words. She gave me a look that shook me slightly, causing me to cough lightly.
"To get to the matter as to why I called you all here... Through unknown means, we have all been brought to this unknown world. Our number one goal should be finding out how we got here, but that can be put to the side for now. We need information on this world. I will be setting out, but so you can gain experience I want at least one of you to join." I said to which Albedo's eyes popped out.
"No!" She said instantly, she didn't care that she was speaking out of line right now. All she cared about was ensuring my safety. And everyone supported her, even the shy Mare.
"My lord, I understand our skills might be lacking. But it's too dangerous for you to wander out there when we know nothing. At least give us time to gain information on the outside world, to know of its dangers first." Demiurge said in worry, everyone also spoke with their reason, I let them all speak before I raised my hands to stop them from speaking.
"Another reason for me saying one of you can tag along was because I knew of your reactions. You can protect me when I'm out. This is the perfect opportunity for you all to learn, you all never been out of the guild, and you never had the chance to adapt to sudden changes and other unknowns. This new world might also have many unknowns even to myself, and I might need some time to adapt. Even so, I'm the best person for the task." I said to which they all looked at each other as my words were true.
All their life they had been in this guild, and the idea of self-control was something they didn't even know of. If they were to see a human, they would kill the human without much thought out of pure disgust... although a few of them wouldn't do that as they wouldn't do evil unless it benefited Nazarick.
"Then I will come with you," Albedo said with determination, to which I shook my head.
"I need you back here running Nazarick. I also want to give you and Demiurge the task of improving Nazarick's defences, and cutting costs. There are other things, so you two might have to stay here in Nazarick for some time.
"Than I shall come," Cocytus said, to which I shook my head.
"Although I would like to say yes, your appearance might draw too much attention... then again, so will mine. So, I will be wearing an armor to hide my appearance." I said to which Cocytus's shoulders dropped.
"Than me and Mare?" Aura said with bright eyes, I looked at the twins for a moment, giving that idea a good thought, before shaking my head in the end.
"No, your combat style isn't something I need. I don't want to draw too much attention, then again the attention I will draw wearing armor is already going to be a lot. So, I have to take some time to find the best clothing for the task." I said with a sigh, to which Aura's shoulders dropped.
Aura was a beast tamer, while Mare had the strongest Area of Effect spells. She was mainly skilled in using spells that affected long AoE. Something which I didn't need. Plus, two adorable kids like them would draw even more attention,
"The best person... is Sebas," I said calmly, stunning everyone who didn't expect this. They all looked towards Sebas, who was also shocked, but he gratefully took the role, much to Shalltear's displeasure as she thought she was the best person for the role.
"The next thing I want to talk about is the matter of Nazarick's defense... Albedo, and Demiurge, while you two work on improving Nazarick Defense, I want Mare to work on hiding Nazarick. I don't care if you have to cover Nazarick in the dirt, I don't want it out in the open." I said to which everyone's eyes widened hearing I wanted to put dirt on Nazarick, but they said nothing.
I pulled out the Rings of Ainz Ooal Gown and went on to give one to Albedo, Demiurge, and Mare. Albedo's eyes glowed, she didn't even think twice as she went on to put it on her ring finger, which I ignored.
"Demiurge, I will have to burden you with not only helping Albedo but also Mare," I said with a sigh, to which Demiurge quickly shook his head with a bright smile.
"My lord, it brings me great honor that I could be of help. This is no burden at all." He said happily, to which I nodded gratefully towards him, before getting up.
"My lord, may I know what your goal for going outside is?" Albedo asked in worry while rubbing her ring, which I had a hard time ignoring.
"Cough... the first thing is to simply get lifeless bodies. Turn them into undead who can just give us information on this world." I said softly, leaving out many things, which made Demiurge feel uneasy. With his ability to read people, he knew I was planning something that might be dangerous, but wasn't telling them.
"But thats enough of me..." I went on to quickly change the subject and went on to tell them many more things I wanted them to look out for. After, I ended everything and went back to my room where I went on to start using magic for the first time,
I used the spell, Create Greater Item. This spell creates magically-made items such as armor, swords, halberds, and so on. It can also create more mundane items such as furniture.
I went on to create something completely different from Momonga Raven Black Armor. I wanted to be super flexible, as a mage, I believed the best thing for me while I was out playing Warrior, was to get used to being flexible, and be able to move around.
I went on to create a copy of Touch Me armor. Touch Me was the strongest player within the guild, his armor was special as it was rewarded to him for being a world champion. Other than that, I went on to create two swords, not too long as I wanted to still be flexible.
I also created a darker version of Touch Me Armor. I wasn't sure why, but I didn't feel like the Silver holy-looking armor suited me. But after creating the darker version, I couldn't help but start putting on my own touches to the armor, and by the time Sebas arrived, the armor looked nothing like Touch Me's armor...
