"Did you see those fruit stands? The apples were huge!" David commented, waving his hands wildly to show the size of the fruit he had seen.
"Yeah, and there was a shop selling some really nice fabrics," Paul added, gesturing vaguely in the town's direction. "I don't know what I'd use them for, but they looked expensive."
Anna, while listening to the boys, tried to focus on the conversation, but her mind was elsewhere.
Even though her friends kept chatting enthusiastically, she was preoccupied with the strange winged sphere that had appeared next to her.
But just as she was trying to ignore the small glowing ball, another, slightly larger sphere appeared, startling the first one.
Both quickly disappeared, vanishing into thin air as if they had never been there, leaving Anna more confused than before.
'What the hell is going on?' Anna thought, trying to keep a straight face while processing what she had just seen.
