Chapitre 12: MY MATE, MINE...
"What is this?" Hope touched the necklace and stared at it. "This is beautiful."
Lucien leaned over to kiss her, his tongue lazily swept against her lips. "I told you it suits you."
Reluctantly, Lucien got off the bed and picked his clothes from the floor, as he put it on.
"Keep the necklace always with you, it will protect you." Lucien put on his pants and then walked toward Hope again, pressed his lips against hers. "I will be very busy these few days, be a good girl, understood?"
Hope pouted her lips. She felt like she was being treated as a child and this necklace was a gold chain to make her behave.
"Don't do that, I feel like I am going to ravish you," Lucien growled.
"Understood." Hope immediately nodded and pulled the blanket to cover half of her face. She didn't want him to get any idea.

After school, Hope and Samantha decided to go shopping in nearby shopping area.
"Why are you walking like that?" Samantha asked, after she observed the way Hope was walking. "What is it? You had it rough?" She raised her brows suggestively, which made Hope blushed.
"What do you mean?" Hope tried to dodge the question, as she picked a pair of panties and bra. Lucien ruined her favorite underwear and she didn't think that would be the last.
"Don't act innocent with me, who was that?" Samantha was being a busy body. "You have never talked about boys with me and now you lost your V card?"
Hope's eyes widened, she glared at her bestfriend and then looked around, afraid there was someone else heard that, but Samantha only laughed at her reaction.
"Relax, we are at the age that this is not something weird to talk about." Samantha patted her shoulder.
But, before she could continue with her tease, until she figured out who was the man, Hope immediately changed the topic.
"Do you believe that werewolf exist?" Hope took two pair of panties and bra the color of black, which reminded her of the black wolf.
"Werewolf?" Samantha furrowed her brows and then waved her hand nonchalantly. "That's a myth. You don't think they are exist, do you?"
"Well… yeah…" So, Samantha doesn't know about their existence?
Their conversation then cut off when they heard someone screaming bloody murder at Hope, which startled both of them and attracted people attention.
It was Liam's mother and she was blurting all the curses that she knew.
"You bitch! You ruined my son's life! You should be condemned in hell! You wicked and despicable woman!"
Garnet rushed toward Hope and was about to slap her face so hard. Her face was so red because of anger.
"Ma'am, you shouldn't do this," Samantha said hastily, as she tried to block Garnet from assaulting Hope. "You will get into trouble!"
"Trouble you said?! This wicked woman is the one, who had ruined my son! She defamed him!" Garnet couldn't stop screaming at Hope, while Samantha tried to block her. "You ruined his future!"
"I never did anything like that! It was your son!" Hope screamed back at her, she felt like she was going to cry.
People were watching and the security was being called.
"I will ruin you! Come here, you bitch!" Garnet raised her hand, she was about to slap Hope's face really hard, but Samantha intervened and this made her pushed to the floor, as she grimaced in pain.
"Samantha!" Hope was shocked to see her bestfriend on the floor, but Garnet didn't stop with the assault, as she grabbed Hope's long hair and planned to hit her so hard, she would remember this day.
However, something happened.
Before Garnet could lay her hand on Hope's face, there was a bright red light that came from her necklace.
The same necklace that Lucien gave to her this morning…
Hope remembered Lucien said that the necklace would protect her. Did it really work?

The commotion dispersed when two paramedics rushed into the mall and took a middle aged woman on a wheeled stretched.
People was whispering to each other upon seeing this scene, but they couldn't find another explanation, aside from high blood pressure, since the woman had been screaming to the two poor young girls.
"What is that, Hope?" Samantha was flustered. Fortunately, she was fine, her fall didn't cause her any injuries, but she was shocked.
"I don't know, I think she is really stressed about the problem with Liam." Hope watched Garnet being wheeled away.
"No." Samantha shook her head. "That's not what I am talking about."
Hope frowned to see the serious look on Samantha's face.
"I saw the red light from your necklace before Liam's mother fainted." Samantha narrowed her eyes at the necklace on Hope's neck. "What necklace is that?"
'Did she see it? What should I say? I don't even know what necklace is this and moreover, Samantha doesn't believe that werewolf exist.'
"Hope? Is there something you hide from me?" Samantha fixed her eyes on hers now.
"No." Hope shook her head immediately, readily denied that. "I don't hide anything from you and I don't what you are talking about with the red light." This time, it was Hope, who narrowed her eyes. "I think you saw it wrong."
Samantha frowned deeply. She was sure with what she was seeing. "No, I saw red light came from your necklace."
Hope then wrapped her arms around hers. "Come on, we need to go, people will think you are delusional if you keep saying such thing."
Samantha pouted sullenly. She was sure that she wasn't mistaken, but couldn't prove it.
Right at that time, before Samantha could argue with Hope again, she got a call from unknown number.
"Who is this?" Hope frowned to see the caller ID and then picked it up on the fifth rings. "Hello?"
"Are you Hope, Daniel's younger sister?" A gruffy voice spoke, without any greeting.
"Yes?" Hope frowned. She had never heard this voice before.
