Back within the basement, Gabriel faced the man, who shuddered under his piercing gaze.

"He is ready to admit the truth," Stefan stated, blowing on his wounded knuckle from pounding the snot out of the man.

Gabriel said nothing and pulled the chair for himself before sitting down in front of the man who cried in pain.

"Please do not kill me. I'll tell you everything," he said quickly, eager to accept the crime.

He was the same waiter that was photographed and later used as evidence to frame Eveline.

To his amazement, his doubt turned out to be correct. It was all done by Tiffany, her so-called best friend.

"I had warned Eveline about the girl." Stefan gritted his jaw, remembering his admonition to Eveline back then.

"But she took him seriously, I guess, and now look what she's done."

"Do you still don't believe her now?" Stefan questioned, his teeth gritted in rage as he looked at Gabriel.
